The pandemic of COVID-19 has caused drastic impacts on many aspects of lives in the city of San Antonio. The “Shelter at home” order led to temporary closures of many restaurants, bars, and entertainment business. Our police officers are hard to find the places for lunch. Under the current circumstances, the GSACCC is initiating a special service to our San Antonio Policemen: free or discounted meals (lunch/dinner)! This program aims to not only help the policemen, but also provide convenience to the local communities. In addition, the GSACCC, with some of the Chinese restaurants, are organising meal deliveries for the doctors and nurses in the Lackland ICU, who are not able to go out for lunch/dinner due to the concern of increasing the chance of virus spreading. Please support our Chinese restaurants on this initiative, as they are proving their determinations of providing care and welfare to the society. They are taking real actions to support San Antonio!
