Meet "E-MON-G" the Gnome and the story of LOL!

TSS "Name the Gnome Contest" 2024

On a cold December morning drinking his Peppermint coffee in his favorite recliner, there sat Santa Claus wondering how to smile again. As Mrs. Claus comes into the living room, she says to him “Papa, Why the sad look?” Santa turns to her while lowering his head and replies “Well Mama…there seems to be such chaos in the world and I’m just not in the holiday spirit so what ever shall I do?”

Mrs. Claus thought for a moment about this serious situation and then says, “We must go to see God, Creator of All”. So off they went to inform Rudolph and the other reindeer about the planned trip that very night. Rudolph with his bright red nose leading the other reindeer in place with Mr. & Mrs. Claus head out as far as they could possibly go into the dark sky.

Upon reaching the absolute highest point possible, Mrs. Claus calls out to God. The sky turns into the most vibrant blue they had ever seen and then a big bright glow appears to cover as far as they can see. As they feel they are being hugged without seeing arms around them, they hear the trumpet sounding voice of God who says “Welcome to my kingdom; I know why you are here, so I am ready to share with you… The Second Greatest Story Ever Told. However, I want you to hear it from the Gnome King of LOL who was given the name E-mon-G”.

Suddenly, land with grass as green and tall as one could imagine appears beneath them. They get off the sled and slowly walk to a huge door with a red heart on it which contains the letters LOL. Santa knocks on the door and he and Mrs. Claus walk into a world of amazement as they see millions of gnomes running around and laughing the most heartfelt laughs ever heard. Santa says, “Oh my, they are Real!” and then he faints. When he comes out of his faint, he is greeted with a handshake from a large Gnome with a red and white hat and a green pantsuit… “I am E-mon-G (Gnome spelled backwards) and I am about to share the Second Greatest Story Ever Told as God has commanded me to do so.”

E-mon-G says the following in his loud yet soft and gentle voice “We all know the story of God creating all that we see and hear…Well after this creation and on the day of rest, God awoke from a nap and said I must create a truly special place that I shall call the LAND OF LOVE (LOL). This is a place that one can go to and experience the true meaning of love, caring and compassion that overflows one’s heart and makes each one want to experience and share that incredible feeling. This land shall be filled with gnomes as they will master the true meaning of LOVE. Gnomes of all sizes and shapes shall roam the land and share love as only they can do as they truly walk through life by FAITH and not by sight. Therefore, they do not need eyes to see as they see through the eyes of God which are imbedded in their hearts. This means that they share the characteristics that God wants us all to have…loving, being kind, joyful and caring. When the nearing of a Christmas Holiday seems to be approaching during a time of distress and turmoil…. All of the millions of gnomes will get on the sled that Santa & Mrs. Claus will provide and will take them throughout the world to share by dropping them off among people to show how LOVE truly should be…”

E-mon-G then motions all the gnomes to the sled and off they go to share LOVE all over God’s created lands to make the world become a kinder, gentler, loving place full of people who want to follow and share the LOVE with you and me and ALL.

The day after Christmas as Mrs. Claus walks into the living room she sees Santa with the biggest smile and she says “Papa, what are you feeling?”. Santa replies “I am feeling a LOVE so magnificent that it overflows my heart with joy knowing that we are now in the LAND OF LOVE (LOL) all over the world as God commanded it to be as the GNOMES have shared their gift.

Meet "Grinch Gnome"

We all know the story about how the Grinch Gnome found and embraced the Christmas spirit, but we never heard what happened after the holidays were over. Until now…
Once the craziness of the holiday was finished and all the Christmas decorations were put up in the new year, the Grinch Gnome wondered, “What now?”. As the days started to pass, he started to have a feeling of hopelessness, not worthy, unable to find happiness in his life. But he also started to feel that his heart that grew three times its size during Christmas, was slowly diminishing away. The Grinch Gnome feared it would go back to its original size and his life would turn to misery like it had before. His wife, Marth May, tried to convince him to look for a job or a hobby that would give him the same happiness. There had to be something that would bring him the same joy he had during the Christmas season. One day as he was leaving his home, he heard his elderly neighbor crying out for help. As he rushed into the home, he found his elderly neighbor on the floor unable to get up. Upon helping him, The Grinch Gnome noticed how disarrayed the house was. The Grinch Gnome started assisting the neighbor in getting his house back in order. The neighbor who was most appreciative for the help asked the Grinch Gnome if he was willing to come over a couple of days a week to help him out. The elderly neighbor explained that he lived alone, and did not get out much because of his age. He said was limited to what he could do. He stated he really could use a little help around the house. The Grinch Gnome pondered and pondered and thought what harm could it do? At least this would give him something to do. So, he agreed and started to visit his neighbor on a frequent basis. With each visit, he realized how much joy it brought him to be able to help his neighbor. As more time passed, he thought, if his neighbor needed help, surely there would be more people that would benefit from his assistance. So, he looked on the internet and found that Family Tree Private Care was looking for care givers. As it turns out, The Grinch Gnome was such a great care giver many of the clients began asking for him. The Grinch Gnome was so happy with his new job that his heart grew three times its size by helping others. He realized the Christmas spirit can last all year long if you put your “heart” into it.

Larry the Gnome has come from the North Pole to oversee the Holiday preparations. He helped our resident's with some holiday baking, decorating and made hot chocolate. Larry made sure he did his exercises to keep him healthy and strong for all the fun activities.
