Due to incitement weather non-essential campus operations are closed Monday, January 26th. Library services such as Interlibrary Loan, Live Chat, and Liaison Services will be unavailable.

The library building will remain open 24/7 as a safe space for UT Health students, faculty, and staff. The building is accessible through badge swipe.

Library staff and services, such as Interlibrary Loan and Ask a Librarian, will be unavailable Monday, January 19th in observation of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Regular services will resume Tuesday, January 20th.

The library building will remain open for UT Health students, faculty, and staff through badge swipe and our online resources are always available.

Campus maintenance alert - Sunday, December 21st- There will be a planned power outage on the Long Campus which will affect the library.

Power may cycle on and off for 15-30 minute increments between 7am - 9am.

Library staff will be unavailable Thursday, November 27th & Friday, November 28th for the Thanksgiving holiday. Services will resume Monday, December 1st. You can access the building 24/7 via card swipe and our online resources at any time.

November 5th - Upgrades to light switches on the 4th Floor. Lights may go on and off during this time.

Library maintenance notice! On Friday, October 10th facilities will be replacing light switches on the 3rd Floor of the library.

They will need to turn off about 50% of the lights to complete the work, and it should take about 4 hours. The other floors should not be affected.

Due to building maintenance there will be extended noise in the library on Friday 9/12. Earplugs are available at the
3rd floor kiosk or by asking a library staff member.
