Hi everyone! This is Jessica Sabourin, program coordinator for Chromosome 18. After three incredible years with the Chromosome 18 Registry & Research Society, it’s time for me to say goodbye. This organization and the amazing families behind it; have left a lasting mark on my heart. I am needing to step away from working to focus on my growing family. 💙
From hosting events to connecting with parents, siblings, and advocates from all over the world, this role has been more than a job — it’s been a community, a purpose, and a family. I’ve learned so much about resilience, compassion, and the power of connection.
To every family who shared your story, your laughter, and sometimes your tears; thank you for letting me be part of your incredible story. You all are such strong advocates and people to learn from.
