This 44 year old was previously overweight. With weight loss her health improved but unfortunately the extra weight damaged her skin’s elasticity and she had significant amount loose skin. To maximize the amount of skin removal a fleur de leis incision is used..
This is the intra operative result. Over time the scar will improve.

Esta mujer de 44 años era sobrepeso. Con la pérdida de peso su salud mejoró, pero lamentablemente el peso extra dañó la elasticidad de su piel y tenía una cantidad significativa de piel flácida. Para maximizar la cantidad de piel eliminada, se utiliza una incisión en forma de fleur de leis.
