Men want body contouring too, they’re just quieter about it. 🤫

One of my favorite procedures to perform is liposuction of the chest, abdomen, and waist combined with a mini-abdominoplasty, which removes the loose skin below the belly button while sculpting the entire torso. 💪

The result?
A flatter abdomen, stronger waistline definition, and a more masculine chest contour.

These are first-week results, meaning like 2 days after surgery. There is still swelling present and the contour will continue to refine and improve over the next several months as healing progresses.

Back in my old stomping grounds today! 🏥

How lucky are we to have an institution like MD Anderson in our own backward? I’m particularly grateful for my years training here, the opportunities to collaborate in research and surgical innovation, and for the exceptional care provided to my patients and own family. 💛

Completing 2 post-residency fellowships at MD Anderson, in 2 separate departments (Breast Surgical Oncology and Reconstructive Microsurgery), shaped me into the plastic surgeon I am today, serving patients in both aesthetic and reconstructive surgery. Thankful. Grateful. Forever changed.
