Family,
We are now registered as a business in Louisiana and licensed to provide quality care in Louisiana and Texas. Below is an updated list of what OWR can offer:
1. Teletherapy (evaluations/treatments) for adults and children to address post-surgical needs, functional limitations, and general Physical Therapy needs. **We currently do not accept insurance but will be able to accept Cash, HSA/FSA, and credit cards.**
2. Wellness consults that address safe and efficient techniques to improve functional mobility.
3. Sports specific training (location dependent: Natchitoches/Shrevport/San Antonio) with injury prevention, flexibility courses, knowledge and training of sport provided by a Former Division 1 athlete. With this training, assistance with balancing school and sports as well as preparation for collegiate education/athletics will also be included. Each one, teach one.
4. Pediatric Intensive training (teletherapy depending on diagnosis; location dependent as well) to educate and assist families on techniques to improve functional mobilty and attain age appropriate milestones.
5. Chair yoga classes provided. There will be a weekly sign-up list and link provided. OWR will offer these classes FREE of charge. More information coming soon.

Pricing will be listed on a different post. Again, this is a cash-based practice at this time and Dr. Cierra will keep us updated on when and what types of insurances are accepted. Physical therapists are movement experts with doctoral level education! They can help anyone from premature infants to the elderly with muscle, bone and joint, balance and sensation, mobility, or skin problems. You can also see a physical therapist in any state without a referral from your physician and they are THE musculoskeletal primary care provider.

Family, it has been a while since we last posted but we are continuing to work on our plan and mission for upcoming services and the future of OWR.

To begin our community outreach (in a way) and Back to School drive, Olori Wellness and Rehabilitation wants to sponsor a classroom for ONE Teacher (value: $50-$75) and 2 stocked backpack giveaways (1 boy, 1 girl).

Rules: Teachers, submit a list of things (via Amazon wishlist or provide CashApp) that you need for your classroom that will equal $50-$75 and the winner will be drawn randomly. Parents, submit your child’s favorite cartoon character or backpack choice with a school supply list and a winner will be drawn randomly. Deadline for submission: 8/13/21 and drawing will be held on 8/14/21.

OWR’s owner comes from a family of educators and now we are able to help give back and we are excited for what’s in store for Olori Wellness and Rehabilitation. Stay tuned!
