This lovely 40 year old mother of 2 was not sure if a breast lift would be enough or if she may also need implants to achieve her youthful breast shape.

This is a tried-and-true method to see if breast implants or breast lift alone are needed to improve your breasts:
The first step is to find a board certified plastic surgeon in Texas who has amazing reviews and a proven body of work (pun intended 🙃) like Dr. Albright at Alamo Plastic Surgery.
The second step is to schedule a consultation and show-up prepared with questions and “wish pics” (the more realistic about expectations you are, the better).

When planning breast augmentation, size and shape go hand in hand—but they’re not exactly the same thing.

Sometimes, the shape you love might require an increase in size you’re not comfortable with. Other times, choosing a certain size might give you a shape or look you didn’t expect. That’s why it’s so important to understand how size and shape relate—and how they can sometimes be at odds.

💡 One big factor affecting shape is the implant profile (names of profiles vary by brand):
• Moderate Profile → softer, natural slope
• High Profile → fuller, rounder look
• Ultra High Profile → very round, prominent projection

Going higher in profile often means a more dramatic “implant look,” and typically a larger size, which can change the natural shape of your breast.

🔥 But remember: The final result depends on many other factors—like your natural breast tissue, chest width, and skin elasticity.

👉 That’s why it’s crucial to know the look you want before your consultation. Spend time looking at before-and-after photos, and pay attention to details like shape, projection, fullness, and cleavage. Ask yourself:
• Do I want a natural slope or a round, full look?
• How much projection feels right for me?
• Do I want subtle enhancement or a dramatic change?

Implant Rupture? Don’t Panic. We’ve Got You. 💕

Whether you have saline or silicone implants, discovering a rupture might sound scary—but it’s usually not an emergency.

💧 Saline Implants:
If your saline implant breaks, it will deflate—sometimes overnight, sometimes gradually. The saline solution is safely absorbed by your body. Not dangerous, just unexpected. Give us a call and we’ll walk you through your options.

🧠 Silicone Implants:
You might first hear about a “possible rupture” from a mammogram or ultrasound. But here’s the truth:
🔹 It might be a rupture—or it might just be scar tissue causing folds that look like one.
🔹 The FDA recommends replacement as a precaution, not because it’s urgent.
🔹 Believe it or not, some people have a rupture and don’t even know it.
🔹 No current medical evidence links a broken silicone implant to a specific disease.
