-Naval Medical Center San Diego- established in 1917
-Naval Hospital Guantanamo Bay- established in 1954
- Naval Hospital Guam (TAD)- established in 1899!

Which Naval Hospitals have you been to?

215 years ago, in 1811, Congress established U.S. Navy hospitals! This act appointed The Secretary of the Navy as Superintendent, funded facilities through a 20-cent monthly deduction and personnel fines for all Navy officers, sailors, and marines, authorized the purchase of land, set one daily ration for patients, and outlined the governance of Navy Asylums.
