The first Monday of 2026… and Yvonne with Harbor Hospice of Jasper knew exactly what our residents needed to get the year rolling! ✨
She brought a magical bag filled with every kind of snack their hearts could desire, along with endless games of bingo for everyone’s enjoyment. 🎉🍪🎲
We appreciate her so much and always look forward to her visits—she truly brings smiles, laughter, and a little extra magic to our day!

Happy New Year!!!
Today our residents were treated to a delicious, traditional New Year’s meal prepared by our Wellness Assistant, Renee, and her husband, Ronny! The menu was full of all the good-luck favorites—black-eyed peas, cabbage, little smokies, Mexican cornbread, and of course a side of Pizza Hut pizza for good measure! 🍕
We happily jumped on the luck and good-fortune wagon and are hoping those peas and cabbage bring it all our way in the year ahead! 🍀 And let’s not forget—this wonderful meal was served by two of the cutest hostesses around, Landree and Khloe. They were absolutely the perfect waitresses! 💕 While our friends enjoyed their food they also enjoyed watching The Rose Parade!!

Never underestimate what you can do with a cardboard box!!! If you happened to walk by our wellness room today and saw us putting our residents in a box… well, now you know why! 😂 We had the BEST time ringing in the New Year at our “NOON”Year’s Eve PARTY!!!
Our Wellness Assistant Renee served up some of the best sausage Rotel cheese dip around and kept the fun going with bingo, while our Wellness Director was the one putting everyone in a box! 😆

We had the sweetest visitors come to Colonial Pines the other night to sing Christmas carols with our residents! We would like to send a heartfelt thank you to the members of Memorial Presbyterian Church for sharing their beautiful voices as they sang up and down our halls. Their music truly blessed us and brought so much joy to our residents. We are so grateful for each of you and the love you shared with our Colonial Pines family! 💕

This Grinch didn’t steal a thing—except our hearts!! 💚
We had the best time with Meghan from Heart to Heart Hospice and Ben (aka the BEST Grinch ever)! They brought all the festive cheer by making the prettiest, most delicious hot cocoas and playing hangman with our sweet peeps. Laughter, smiles, and Christmas joy filled the room!
We truly love and appreciate them so much. Thank you both for making this such a fun and memorable day for our residents! ☕✨🎅💚
