💙 What an incredible week!

We had a wonderful time hosting our Mobile Health Clinic, Wheelchair Support Group, and an extra special thank you to our volunteer barber for providing free haircuts to our consumers. 🙌✂️

Seeing our community come together with support, care, laughter, prayer, and connection is what it’s all about. Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, partnered with us, and helped make these events meaningful for the people we serve.

If you are a person with a disability, senior, or veteran, we encourage you to reach out and learn about the programs, resources, services, and future events available to you. You are not alone, and we’re here to help support your independence and quality of life.

Looking for a space to just hang out, be yourself, and maybe help shape something meaningful? This is YOUR group. Come as you are, stay for the laughs, games, convo, and community. 🎮🎨💬

Movement and wellness should be accessible to everyone. 💙

Today, Rolling Start Inc. was able to provide adaptive exercise equipment through our Assistive Technology (AT) program to a consumer who is partially blind and facing health and transportation barriers that made it difficult to safely access a gym or exercise in public spaces.

After being encouraged by her doctor to stay active for her health, she shared the challenges she faced trying to find safe and accessible ways to exercise independently at home. Through our AT department, we were able to help provide equipment that supports her health goals while allowing her to exercise comfortably and safely in her own environment.

Access to the right tools can make a meaningful difference in independence, wellness, and quality of life and we’re grateful to play a small part in that journey. 💪✨
