🎙️ New Podcast Episode Out Now 🎙️

🎧 Rest Is Not a Luxury: Sleep, Pregnancy, and Life After Baby

During National Sleep Awareness Week, we brought an honest and powerful conversation about sleep during pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond. This episode centers community voices, NICU family experiences, and the reality that rest is essential to health, not something parents should have to earn.

In this episode, we talk about:
* The real impact of sleep deprivation during pregnancy and postpartum
* Supporting rest through partners, family, and community
* Sleep challenges for families with babies in the NICU
* Personal experiences from stay‑at‑home and working parents

A quick note for our listeners: Due to technical issues, this episode includes some audio glitches that could not be fully edited. We appreciate your grace, these moments do not take away from the heart and impact of the conversation. A special thank you to Mr. Delmar of for lending editing assistance where possible.

Listen, share this episode with a parent or support person in your life, and help us continue normalizing rest as care.

For NICU resources:Jessica Wade jwade@globalcommunities.org

Follow‑up question for our community:What is one small way you protect rest, your own or someone else’s? Let us know in the comments.

March is Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month

For pregnant and postpartum families, awareness starts early, with listening, learning, and creating supportive environments where every child and family can thrive.

This month, we recognize the strengths and contributions of individuals with developmental disabilities and the importance of early connection, informed care, and community support during pregnancy, birth, and beyond.

Together, we can help build communities where families feel supported, questions are welcomed, and every child is valued from the very beginning.

💛 Endometriosis Doesn’t Wait.

For millions, endometriosis means living with pain that is often dismissed, delayed, or misunderstood. This Endometriosis Awareness Month, we’re speaking up for earlier diagnosis, compassionate care, and systems that truly listen, especially for people who face added barriers to getting timely support.
