Could radiation therapy help your arthritis pain?

When medications, injections, or physical therapy haven’t provided enough relief, Low-Dose Radiation Therapy (LDRT) may be an option. This safe, non-invasive treatment uses very small doses of radiation to reduce inflammation in painful joints, helping reduce swelling and discomfort without affecting the rest of the body.

How it works:
During arthritis flare-ups, immune cells release chemicals that cause inflammation. LDRT gently reduces those overactive cells, allowing the joint to settle down and pain to improve.

Conditions that may benefit:
• Osteoarthritis & Rheumatoid arthritis
• Bursitis or tendonitis
• Plantar fasciitis
• Post-surgical joint pain
• Other inflammatory joint or soft tissue conditions

Why patients choose it:
✔ Short, simple treatments
✔ Minimal side effects
✔ No downtime — return to normal activities
✔ Many feel relief after just a few sessions

Talk with your care team to see if radiation therapy could be right for you.

We’re excited to share that our team has officially joined the local Chamber of Commerce and attended our first meeting this week!

It was an honor to be welcomed with a plaque, and we’re proud to have a stronger voice in our community — helping shape positive change, not just respond to it.

We look forward to building new connections and expanding education and resources for our patients at San Bernardino Cancer Care.

Here’s to stronger community partnerships and a healthier future together! San Bernardino Area Chamber of Commerce

- Practice deep breathing or meditation
- Stay connected with loved ones
- Try gentle movement
- Write things down
- Ask for support
- Celebrate small wins

Most importantly, be kind to yourself and take things one day at a time.
