Week 5 of New Starts is complete! Now, let's add some lively details to our leaves by sketching in their bones. We started by using phthalo green straight from the tube, dipping our brush into water first, then loading it from the palette. This helpful technique gives us a guide to create more detailed leaves as we paint. Next, we enhance the centers of our sunflowers with a lovely layer of richness. To do this, we mixed a middle tone using yellow ochre and a touch of cadmium red light. Keep up the great work, you're doing wonderful!
