We were honored to welcome Assemblyman Tom Lackey to Mercy Air 2 in Victorville, CA, where he got a firsthand look at the critical, lifesaving care we provide to the community and his constituents.

With his background in the California Highway Patrol, Assemblymember Lackey brings a unique perspective on the vital role air medical services play in emergency response. During his visit, he toured our aircraft, explored advanced tools like the AutoPulse NXT, and learned about the blood units we carry on every flight to enhance patient outcomes.

We also had the opportunity to discuss key challenges, including the outdated Medi-Cal reimbursements—an issue that directly impacts the sustainability of emergency air medical care in underserved areas.

We’re grateful for Assemblymember Lackey’s time, insight, and ongoing support as we continue our mission to deliver rapid, high-level emergency care.

An exciting addition to the Mercy Air line of air ambulance services. Welcome to the team, Mercy Air 51.

We are flying high over the opening of Mercy Air 51 – our newest fixed wing base in Las Vegas, NV. This Mercy Air Nevada aircraft will serve patients across southern Nevada, northern Arizona, and parts of California and Utah, transporting them to critical care that is farther away or in weather that may not be suitable for our helicopters. No matter what Mercy Air aircraft is called, patients can trust that it is staffed with industry-leading clinicians, cutting-edge equipment, whole blood, an AutoPulse automated CPR device, and more in order to function as a flying ICU. We are proud to add this asset to the Mercy Air fleet!

Welcome to service Mercy Air 51. Our new fixed wing base out of Las Vegas went operational yesterday, and within barely 10 mins of service found themselves already rolling down the runway and rotating Vr. Congratulations team on putting together!!!
