A few reminders from the acupuncture room 🎗️

Your body is not broken.

Progress can be quiet.

Your body is always communicating.

And you deserve care that listens.

A patient asked me this the other day:
‘Is there medicine on the acupuncture needle?’”

The answer is no.
Acupuncture needles are solid, sterile, and medication-free.

They don’t inject anything into your body.
The needle itself gently stimulates specific points to help your body respond—
improving circulation, calming the nervous system, and supporting healing.

So if you’re sensitive to medications, or trying to avoid side effects, this is something many people find reassuring about acupuncture.

If you’ve ever had questions like this, you’re not alone.
Feel free to ask—I’m always happy to explain.

Sciatica isn’t just “back pain.”

If pain shoots from your low back into your hip or leg, sitting, sleeping, or even walking can feel exhausting.

In this patient case, I approached sciatica by calming irritated nerves, improving circulation, and reducing muscle tension — not just chasing symptoms, but supporting the body’s healing response.

If this sounds familiar, save this video or DM me “sciatica” to learn if acupuncture may be a good fit for you.

What I commonly treat at Acu4us -
🌿Not sure if acupuncture can help with what you’re experiencing?

Many people come in feeling unsure — especially if their symptoms don’t fit neatly into one category, or if they’ve been told “everything looks normal” but still don’t feel well.

At Acu4us, I commonly support patients with pain, stress, women’s health concerns, digestive issues, and nervous system imbalance.

Treatments are always individualized, guided by both Traditional Chinese medicine and my clinical background.

If something on this list resonates — or if you don’t see your concern listed — feel free to DM me for questions or book your first appointment!

Your symptoms matter, even when they’re complex. 🌿

The one who were raised on 麥香紅茶, cassette tapes, and bus rides that took forever.

You learned patience from handwritten notes, dial-up internet, and KTV power ballads.

And somewhere in the background, 坣娜’s voice was there…

For the girls who lived through pagers → Nokias → MSN…

Who collected stationery like treasure, fixed cassette tapes with pencils

If these memories feel like home to you too… you’re my people.

⁉️ When is sticking needles in your body a GOOD thing?

➡ Acupuncture uses tiny, disposable, sterile needles placed gently into specific
acupuncture points. It’s one of the oldest true techniques that’s been around for
thousands of years in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).

➡ The body is made of meridians (channels), which allow your energy to flow. Think
of meridians like rivers inside the body. Each meridian is connected to specific organs and glands. The meridians are the body’s healing energy pathways, and the acupressure points lie along them.

➡ Our tiny needles stimulate blood flow along these meridians at specific acupressure points. This is where we can most effectively release the resulting tension, numbness, or pain.

➡ QI/CHI: Within TCM, these healing acupressure points are considered to be gates of the healing energy or life-force, called the Qi or Chi. Qi flows through meridians as an invisible current, energizing, nourishing, and supporting every cell, tissue, muscle, organ, and gland.

➡️ The body’s natural self-healing abilities are activated when Qi is balanced and flowing freely. The quality, quantity, and balance of Qi influence a person’s health.

➡️ When Qi becomes backed up in one part of the body, the flow becomes restricted in other parts.

➡️ Physical and emotional trauma, stress, lack of exercise, overexertion, seasonal changes, poor diet, accidents, or excessive activity are among the many things that create blockages.
