🔥 SEASON PREVIEW: THE 💥💥HAVE BEGUN! 🔥

The Boys U14 final at the USA Surfing West Coast Prime Series season opener was a battle against the elements and top West Coast talents! Morro Rock was a fitting gladiator pit, forcing the boys to battle relentless sets just to hunt down a high-scoring ride.

It was King Nichol who emerged victorious, setting the bar early and maintaining the pressure. Dane Gregorious pushed him to the limit, logging the highest wave score of the heat—a powerful 6.67—to finish a close second.

If this final is any indication, we’re in for an epic season of competition!

👑 GRIT AND GLORY: GIRLS U16! 👑
Morro Rock demanded toughness, and the Girls U16 delivered! The heats were a testament to their ocean safety and breath hold training, with plenty of broken leashes and marathon duck dives in the building swell.

Taking the top spot was San Clemente’s Samaira Lizzi! Samaira powered her way through the demanding conditions, earning her very first Prime Series win and a big hug from mom. ♥️

This final showed the strength and composure of the next generation. Way to start the season with a statement, girls!

🤯 FIRST-TIME WINNER. EPIC CONDITIONS. 🤯

Morro Rock delivered intensity for the USA Surfing West Coast Prime Series season opener! The swell built throughout the day, creating some truly unforgettable, massive waves.

Big congrats to Carlsbad’s Bryce Seshun for winning the Boys U16 title in his very first Prime Series appearance! He was fearless, attacking those steep faces with power and smart heat strategy.

The final was packed with new talent:
    •    San Clemente’s Waylon Martin (2nd) also made a strong debut.
    •    Malibu’s Matteo Wander (3rd) earned his first-ever Prime final spot.
    •    HB’s Grey Walker (4th) rounded out a tough field.

These surfers earned every point after a marathon of paddling!

In her first Prime Series season, Mia showed veteran composure, taking the win at the USA Surfing West Coast Prime Series at Morro Rock. These were some of the most challenging conditions in Prime Series history, and Mia stayed focus to advance all day.

We are so proud of these young women for pushing the level of surfing and building lifelong friendships and memories along the way.

So proud of all our surfers today for charging maxed out Morro Rock, but especially the Girls U14 competitors! 💪🏽🇺🇸💥The paddle outs were extra gnarly with relentless big sets to duck dive.

Just getting out would be an accomplishment, but everyone caught waves. Isla Pinto and Peeta Kenworthy dominated with impressive combination maneuvers.
