At The Seville of San Clemente, we proudly came together to celebrate the heart of our community, our incredible team!

A festive Holiday Employee Appreciation Party honored every department that makes life at The Seville so special: our compassionate care staff, dedicated life enrichment team, attentive dining and wait staff, talented kitchen team, welcoming concierges, and all of our hardworking frontline employees.

In a meaningful gesture of gratitude, bonuses, generously increased by our wonderful Treasurer, Elaine E.—were personally handed out by our Resident Council, making the celebration even more heartfelt. The afternoon was filled with delicious food, gift raffles, laughter, and genuine appreciation for those who give so much of themselves every day.

It was a truly special occasion, reminding us that caring for our team is essential to caring for our residents.

2025 was a year of firsts for The Seville.

We celebrated our first anniversary, our first summer of fun, our first puppy kisses (OK, maybe not the first ever!) and some of our community’s first seasonal celebrations throughout the year.

At The Seville of San Clemente we’re only midway through our festive week, and our hearts are already full.
Girl Scout Troop 4544 brought smiles & holiday cheer as they sang carols and created festive crafts alongside our residents, moments of connection that truly define the season.

Anaya and Maggie led an incredibly timely & informative presentation on how to prevent online scams, empowering our residents with knowledge and confidence during this busy time of year.

We celebrated the Festival of Lights with Dr. Sheppero, who shared the meaning of Hanukkah, lit the menorah, and enjoyed the tradition with delicious latkes.

The celebration continued with Iliana’s beautiful dance group, performing traditional dances from Mexico & ending on a joyful note with “Feliz Navidad.”

To wrap up the day, our residents cozied up with fresh-baked cookies & warm hot chocolate while enjoying a magical Christmas lights tour around San Clemente.

Residents spent the week immersed in festive enrichment, from a captivating Hillsdale College Zoom lecture on Charles Dickens, complete with a spirited group quiz, to art sessions where snowmen and hand-painted nutcrackers came to life with creativity and laughter.

The Seville attended a beautiful performance at the Pacific Coast Church Choir, & we will make it a true Seville tradition, our residents lovingly wrapped gifts that will soon rest beneath our sparkling Christmas trees, each one a symbol of joy, generosity, and togetherness.

Our beloved Tree Lighting Ceremony kicked off the season in the most magical way! classic Christmas carolers filling the air with joyful music, a festive photo booth capturing priceless memories, and everyone toasting with delicious spiked eggnog under the twinkling lights!

With a full house of residents, families, and guests, the room was buzzing with laughter, music, and heartfelt moments that reminded us how special intergenerational connections can be.

Today, our community gathered for a truly exquisite Thanksgiving celebration, a brunch filled with warmth, elegance, and unforgettable moments.

Guests were welcomed with our signature cranberry spritzer, a vibrant toast to gratitude and togetherness. Tables were adorned with stunning fall florals, and the aroma of a perfectly roasted turkey and carved ham set the tone for a feast crafted with love.

Soft classical music floated through the room, creating a serene ambiance as families came together to share stories, laughter, and a beautiful holiday meal.

At The Seville of San Clemente it’s these elevated moments, the joy, the connection, the comfort of being together, that make our community feel like home.

This week, The Seville of San Clemente came alive with something truly special…
Our young volunteers were paired with our residents, and what blossomed was pure connection, real friendships, priceless wisdom, and moments that touched everyone’s hearts.

But the fun didn’t stop there…
Our amazing kids took center stage and showed off their talents, crafting, singing, drawing, dancing, storytelling, you name it! The smiles across the room said it all.
