We may find ourselves bending over backwards for the people we love this time of year—but don’t forget that you deserve your love and care too.

Self-care is not selfish.
Rest is not something that needs to be earned.

Whether it’s yoga, quiet time, or a short walk alone, give yourself the gift of tending to your own well-being.
Because when you care for yourself first, you show up more fully, more authentically, and more lovingly for all the people you want to share your time and energy with. 🤍

One of my favorite parts of teaching yoga is creating space for practices like this: a simple self-hug.

In this moment, my students are moving through yoga and affirmations — giving themselves permission to pause, embrace their own being, and remember that self-love and self-acceptance are powerful forms of self-care. 💛

Yoga isn’t just about shapes on the mat; it’s about nervous system regulation, cultivating compassion for ourselves, and learning to meet life with a little more ease.

✨ Remember, the way you hold yourself matters. Sometimes the most healing thing you can do is wrap your own arms around your body and say, I am enough.

✨ Yoga is more than movement.
