MEMORIAL DAY | HONORING STILLNESS, SACRIFICE & SERVICE

at YNG STUDIOS NORTH BEACH, we hold this day in~ a time to reflect on the freedoms we enjoy in the lives that made them possible.
Today, we remember an honor of the brave souls who gave their lives and service. We carry their memory into our breath, our movement, entered the stillness and space between.
In this tranquil space we created together ~ one built on intention, healing,~ we recognize that every moment on the mat is a gift.

Join Colette for this deep and profound work with the medicine of cannabis. Cannabis meditation is a sacred practice that allows us to access the deeper wisdom of the body. When you meditate with CANNABIS in your system, the felt effects and the medicinal benefits of cannabis are multiplied. Cannabis is a sacred plant medicine that is often overlooked in our modern world. This practice reminds us of her inherent power, and how we can work with her to heal trauma, expand nervous system capacity, and, connect to the The Vine. We will be smoking cannabis together as part of the session. Please bring your preferred strain that you work with, either as a small joint of the cannabis flower, a glass pipe or a dry herb vaporizer. And there will be plenty provided to share for anyone that doesn’t know how or what to bring. No large glass pieces with water please. If edibles is your preference, please bring that that is welcome. Bring us snack for afterwards and a water bottle with a sealed lid. We always encourage crystals our sacred objects to amplify your meditation. Can’t wait to see you in our NORTH BEACH location!!

We recently expanded to a new location in North Beach, San Clemente!
To celebrate, we’re throwing a Grand Opening Party on April 26 from 1–3pm, and we’re inviting our new and old friends in San Clemente to join us! The Open House and Raffle will be held between 1–3pm, and we’re offering three complimentary yoga classes to give guests a true experience of what YNG Studios North Beach has to offer:

🕐 Open House + Raffle: 1–3 PM

🧘‍♀️ 3:00–4:00 PM – Fun Flow with the YNG Team
🌗 4:30–5:30 PM – YN + YNG, one of our signature classes offering a balance of YIN and YANG energies with a gentle flow and YIN-style restoration
🔔 6:00–7:00 PM – Sound Bath with Reiki

NEW INSTRUCTOR ALERT!!! We are so excited to welcome to our TRIBE! Anthony will be teaching our Thursday 4:15 SLOW FLOW’YNG with gentle heat. Anthony is like a diamond with many facets.. first of all..if you love a dog- we love you! Not only is Anthony a E-RYT 500 with Yoga Alliance, he is certified in multiple modalities of yoga, including (but not limited to!!) Vinyasa, Yin, yoga, fusion, shred, power, Vinyasa, and, much more. Anthony is also a certified breath coach having completed a 30 hour Breathwork facilitator certification. Anthony is an established vocal coach for singers and actress throughout the greater Los Angeles area and has clients working professionally throughout the country he was recognized as one of the top vocal coaches in Los Angeles by backstage in their article 8 vocal coaches to know in NYC and LA.
Anthony is also certified in somatic modalities and 👥 Reiki. Come take this SLOW FLOW’YNG class with a gem of a teacher on Thursdays at 4:15 in our North Beach location…you won’t regret it.!!

Ana is a beautiful yogi inside and out, she is our Brazilian prayer warrior🙏🏻 Ana’s life is a constant prayer and she affirms that movement and meditation practice has helped her be present in every moment with consciousness, doing everything with love and connected with divine presence and all she does. She encourages and empower her students to take their practice to the next level in their awesome aspect, and mostly in the ways they can explore their gifts, connected with their true essence, facilitating, awakening, and communion with spirit. She is the embodiment of peace and power, and she is overjoyed to share her wisdom and her vibrant energy with our community. Come play with Ana on Thursdays at 9:45… You will not be disappointed💙🙏🏻

Our Story

EPIC Yoga is a yoga studio with a simple mission to live and give. Those of us reading this message understand the profound effect yoga can have on our sense of peace and clarity. EPIC Yoga’s One for One CommUNITY program provides 30 days of yoga to those facing challenging times in their lives and with their finances. Most of us know or know of people who could desperately use yoga in their lives, but who simply can’t afford it. Recipients will come from suggestions from our students as well as from an outreach with various partner community groups. Please private message us if you know someone who would benefit. EPIC Yoga has a fantastic variety of classes for every level. This yoga is for everyone, every age, every ability, every day. So grab your mom, your kid (because we have a kids zone too), your grandma and your guru. We cannot wait to meet you!
