It’s been three months since I was last in the ocean 🩵🌊
Today, I danced on its warm, azure surface, finding my rhythm again and riding the swell. 🧜🏻‍♀️
The sun kissed my skin ☀️, the salt renewed my spirit ✨

I feel whole. Balanced. Ready for anything. Come what may.

We’re honored to be a part of this years Festival of Whales, celebrating the incredible annual migration of the majestic gray whale and raising awareness for their preservation. 🩵🐋

Lunch & Learn this month, we are welcoming back UCI Professor Jessica Pratt, Ph.D. and her Global Sustainability Capstone Student Presentations as our Lunch & Learn speakers for the third year.

🌊 Spent 6 unforgettable hours paddling this weekend. I’m in love with this ocean 💙🐬🪼

Paddled alongside thousands of dolphins, a mola mola, jellyfish,and graceful bat rays.
The ocean is teeming with life and beauty the is awe-inspiring.

Feeling incredibly blessed to have experienced such magical encounters with these amazing creatures. 🙏🏼🐬🌞

Every time I’m in the ocean, I express my love to her through all five love languages:

💙 Affirmation - “Ocean, I love you so much.”
💙 Quality time - My best moments are spent with her.
💙 Acts of service - I consistently clean up any trash I come across.
💙 Gifts - I leave the ocean in a better state than I discovered it.
💙 Physical touch - Immersing myself completely feels incredibly intoxicating.

Board Lessons🩵🌊💙

All I need to know about life I learned on my board.

This week the ocean reminded me of 2 valuable life lessons.

1- Don’t give up!
I was out in one of the more challenging days I’ve had in a while. And as much as I wanted to to give up, I couldn’t because I was right in the middle of it.
So perseverance and determination got me out of it! Keep going!

2- If you fall down get back up!
While I didn’t fall (this time) I was thinking if I did, it really wouldn’t be a big deal, all I would need to do is get back up!

That’s what I mean by all I need to know about life I learned on my board.

The ocean gives me so much more then I could ever give back.

I feel so small yet so connected to everything at the same time.

Everything we do affects everything that exists and if you take the time to observe anything in nature, you realize how much your impact has.
