Hi!
I'd like to take a moment to introduce myself and my work. I'm Emily, I've recently completed my training to become a labor doula. I was inspired, after my mother passed away, to pursue lifestyle changes that led me to discovering the wide variety of holistic support systems for women around the globe.
I am a big believer in holistic support for women at every stage in their lives, but the realm of pregnancy and labor is where I choose to serve.
My love for serving others and advocating for women as they enter one of the most important periods of their lives is the driving point behind my business, and as a doula, I will strive to make labor the most empowering, fulfilling and amazing moment of a woman's life.

Why Hygieia?
Hygieia is the Greek goddess of health. It is my goal within my practice to adhere to the standards set forth in the ideal of Hygieia: to bring women's health to the forefront, to advocate for the health of women who may not be able to access the resources they need, to ensure that women are able to have positive birth stories, and to allow the generations to come to have as much access to holistic support as they can.
