Consistency is key!

Original • “Why should I come back if I’m feeling better?”

Totally valid question.
The answer isn’t about fixing, it’s about supporting.

Your body doesn’t stop working just because it feels good — it’s adapting, growing, moving, and showing up for you every single day. For your kids, your workouts, your work days, and all the seasons life brings.

Chiropractic care supports your body so it can keep doing all of that.

If you’ve been curious about “maintenance” care or what it means in real life, drop a question below or send me a DM 🤍 .sd

Want to know what breastfeeding your newborn will really look like?

Not just another breastfeeding class. This one is taught by Jen, nurse practitioner and IBCLC. Jen has supported new parents and babies as an L&D nurse and lactation nurse in the hospital…..from labor to postpartum, babies in the NICU, multiples, and everything in between….to supporting you at home after baby arrives. Learn from an NP-IBCLC who has done it all and be prepared for what feeding your baby will REALLY look like. ❤️

Register for one of the upcoming classes! Link in the bio!

Preparing for breastfeeding starts before your baby arrives and we’ve got you covered so you feel confident and prepared. Our Prenatal Breastfeeding Basics & More class helps you understand what’s normal in the early days, how to get a comfortable latch, and how to know your baby is getting enough — all before you’re sleep-deprived and learning on the fly.

Taught by a Nurse Practitioner-IBCLC, this class goes beyond the basics:

⭐️ Evidence-based guidance from a holistic and medical perspective.
⭐️ How to latch your baby.
⭐️ Is breastfeeding supposed to hurt?
⭐️ How to PROTECT YOUR MILK SUPPLY!
⭐️ Bottles, pumping, formula, and more. We cover it ALL because unexpected challenges are VERY common!

When you’re prepared, breastfeeding feels less stressful and more supported. Our class helps you to establish a connection with your lactation team so you have the support you need every step of the way.

Register today because breastfeeding begins before birth!

Why do we wait until everything is going wrong and we can’t feed our babies until we get lactation support?

Lactation should be proactive instead of reactive! Establish care early! Contact to learn how to get a free prenatal class or appointment.

Original • Lactation care should be proactive, not reactive.

Just like establishing care with an OB, midwife, or pediatrician to ensure mom and baby both stay healthy, the same can be said for lactation care. Once challenges are occurring with feeding your infant, the challenges become more difficult to overcome. Establishing care with a lactation nurse practitioner can prepare you for the many challenges that arise when initiating breastfeeding and alternative forms of infant feeding.

The most common challenges we see is a baby with latch difficulties and low milk supply. Attending a prenatal appointment can help you to identify what challenges may be more likely for you and your baby and gives you an opportunity to develop a plan to address them before your infant feeding goals are thrown off track.

Prenatal lactation care should be standard for EVERY BIRTHING PARENT! No matter how you choose to feed your baby. Even parent planning to bottle feed would benefit from a prenatal lactation appointment to prepare.

Don’t wait until the struggles appear. Receive the preparation you need before baby arrives to feel more confident and empowered to get off to a strong start!

“Lactation care isn’t just about reacting when things go wrong—it’s about being proactive, supporting your body and baby every step of the way. 💪🏽🌱 Let’s normalize planning, education, and early support so you can feel empowered and confident from day one. 🍼✨ ”

We need to talk about mental health more often. Do you know the difference between what you might be feeling?

Original• 💙 Baby Blues vs PPD vs PPA: Know the Difference 💙

Not every mood change after birth is the same:

🔹 Baby Blues: Mild mood swings, tears, irritability; usually resolves within 2 weeks.
🔹 Postpartum Depression (PPD): Persistent sadness, hopelessness, low energy, loss of interest; can last months without treatment.
🔹 Postpartum Anxiety (PPA): Intense worry, racing thoughts, panic attacks; can interfere with daily life.

Recognizing the signs early is key to recovery. Mental Illness Awareness Week is the perfect time to learn, reach out, and support each other.

*️⃣ Perinatal mental health disorders also include OCD, Bipolar Mood Disorders, PTSD, and Psychosis. *️⃣
