A future that I would not only like to see, but also help to create, is one where every human who wants a doula by their side during labor gets one, regardless of finances.

What do you look like and how different is your story when it begins with love, comfort, care, support as well as being seen and heard?

I just absolutely love this series! Danielle Brooks was pregnant in 2019 and Netflix did a series with her about all things pregnancy called "A Little Bit Pregnant". This one of course is my personal favorite because it delves into what a doula is, what they do (standby to laugh your face off at the clip from Ali Wong) and also the importance of a post partum doula.

Today was a great day for me and my doula business, Let's doula this together! I have the honor of looking forward to being by the side of my very first paying client! I love, love, love my volunteer doula work but I cannot lie, this feels PRETTY FREAKING GOOD!

YAY! Today I joined - The Ocean Beach Mainstreet Association as an associate business member for my doula business "Let's doula this together"! I have lived here for over 20 years and have loved being a community member, now its time for me to serve this community I love so much.
