This San Diego native came in for a lower eyelid festoon evaluation that developed in recent years. She had a history of several fillers around the cheek and eye area over the span of many years and was extremely bothered by the eyelid bag mainly on one side. After close evaluation she was found to have marked filler migration in the lower eyelid with a festoon. The migrated filler required two round of dissolving to both lower eyelids and upper cheek areas. The right eyelid festoon was then too expanded to be tightened using conservative methods so she opted for a direct excision. This is always a difficult choice because it requires placing a visible scar in the undereye area, but these typically heal very well and for large expanded festoons is really still the gold standard option. In addition to festoon treatment, she also was interested in an upper eyelid blepharoplasty and laser resurfacing around the eyes to further refresh the eye area and reduce excess skin.

Here she is pictured just 4 months after a right lower eyelid direct festoon excision, with a barely perceivable scar, upper blepharoplasty and gentle laser resurfacing to the under-eye area.

This sweet patient came in hoping for a full eyelid refresh including addressing a eyebrow asymmetry and a deeper wrinkle over the left brow. During an in-office, hour-long procedure under oral sedation, we performed an Upper Eyelid Blepharoplasty with Asymmetric Bilateral Browpexy (Brow Re-Contouring), with Lower Blepharoplasty Skin Pinch with Laser Resurfacing. I also placed selective SkinVive Filler to hydrate the more formed wrinkles over the brow and crows feet area.

Here she is pictured at just 2 months after surgery! Brows are balanced and the skin around her eyes looks tighter and smoother! Certainly more youthful and rested!

This sweet patient came in very concerned about the yellow growing lesions in her upper eyelids. She constantly wore glasses and felt very self conscious about people staring at her eyelids all day. Nervous about a procedure but determined to get rid of them she put her trust in me. With a 30 minute in office procedure we were able to safely remove the xanthelasna like they were never there! She could not be more elated with the result and is feeling her confident self again.

This gorgeous mom came in with concerns about tired appearing eyes, hoping for a more rested appearance. After careful assessment, I recommended a lower eyelid blepharoplasty with fat repositioning (done through the inside of the eyelid), a skin pinch (with the incision just underneath the lower eyelashes), and laser resurfacing.

Here she is pictured at just 2 weeks after surgery! Already you can see that by moving the excess fat under the eyes to help volumize the tear trough area, I was able to create a smooth junction between the eyelid & cheek. This creates a more rested appearing eye. While I do not always recommend a skin pinch, I think conservative skin-only excision was perfect in this case for excess lower eyelid skin. The fractionated CO2 laser under the eyes to tighten the skin and reduce fine lines is always the cherry on top!

This professional football athlete came in to address his left upper eyelid being droop, concerned about improving his athletic performance and symmetry for modeling. He liked the height and contour of his right eyelid so we decided to do a correction to try to best match the left eyelid to the right. After a careful exam and discussion, he decided to have an in office left upper eyelid only Scarless Ptosis Repair, lifting the droopy lid and improving his symmetry.

He now has improved clearance of the pupil for his athletic endeavors and better symmetry for modeling! What do you think?!
