Sometimes it's not necessarily about WHAT you're doing, but HOW you're doing it.

Being on a device is inevitable in this day and age (school, work, entertainment all revolve around technology).
But sometimes we end up working in awkward positions that it throws our body out of alignment

You don't need the aches and pains of tech neck get you down! Here are three 3 things you can do to support yourself in tech work 👇

1️⃣ Get your spine checked
Chiropractic can help you recover better posture and combat the wear and tear from day to day activities. Most importantly help you function and live better 🌱

2️⃣ Use a lap top riser
If you don't want to spend $20 getting something to support your posture while you work you can also just place your device on some books 📚

3️⃣ Bring your phone to your face
Most people bring the face to their phone and that puts an additional stress on the brain 🧠 your brain stem exists your skull and has a ton of nerve fibers at the first 2 bones in your neck

Hello, I'd like to officially introduce myself 👋

I am Dr. Darcy and I am a San Diego based chiropractor ☀️

I chose to become a chiropractor in 2018 after regaining my hearing after an adjustment.

I experienced hearing loss as a result of mental and emotional stress and found it incredible that an adjustment helped relieve the stress and restore my hearing.

I chose to study Networkspinal after having profound transformation from PTSD and anxiety response patterns AKA symptoms.

I started to develop new strategies to support my wellness and am happy to say I have been free of prescription management for over 4 years 🌱

In 2021 I chose to certify as a Life Activation practitioner and I've found that clients who chose to receive it get better results and see more profound changes.

Over the course of my study in chiropractic school and modern mystery school I've acquired many healing modalities and techniques which I offer to those seeking to become more empowered and embodied in both their bodies and lives 🙌

HAPPY NATIONAL TEA DAY! 🍵

Here's two truths about one for your physical and one for spiritual health

1. Paper cups are actually not that great to drink out of
Think about it- should paper hold water?

NO!!

Paper should be What when water touches it. Because paper cups are lined with all sorts of chemicals and waxes, the water doesn't seep into the cup but seeks into whatever it is that you're drinking. Therefore, it's supposed to be avoided if possible. However, sometimes you really just want a cup of tea and that's what's available to use to do so. See comments for link to science about the chemicals.

2. Awareness is the first step for improving your life

"Shakespeare wrote: There is nothing more confining than the prison we don't know we are in."

By increasing our capacity for light we can become more aware. The light shines on patterns that need to change and can help us create more harmony by clarifying our purpose. The life activation is a wonderful first step for this
