When a friend comes in and request a true therapy dog experience 🤣.

What most of our clients don’t know is that little miss Priya is usually asleep at the front desk, under our feet, for the entire day!

Wanna to say hello? Just ask! She loves to make friends.

☕ Ever notice how a warm drink instantly makes you feel more grounded, more at ease? In Traditional Chinese Medicine, that’s no coincidence.

Warm beverages are more than just comforting—they’re a form of nourishment and protection for your digestive system. In TCM, your digestion is powered by the Spleen and Stomach, and they thrive on warmth. Cold drinks, especially first thing in the morning or with meals, can weaken this digestive fire and slow things down—leading to bloating, fatigue, sluggish metabolism, and even that feeling of being “off” all day.

But when you start your day with a warm cup of water, herbal tea, or bone broth? You’re supporting your body’s natural rhythm. You’re waking up your digestion gently, encouraging smooth energy flow, and giving your system a signal: It’s safe to soften. I’m here to care for you.

Some of my favorite warm sips:
– Ginger tea for circulation and digestion
– Goji berry + red date tea to nourish blood and boost energy
– Warm lemon water in the morning to gently detox and awaken the system

This simple habit is such a powerful form of self-care. It’s not about doing more—it’s about choosing what’s aligned with your body’s wisdom.

So today, try swapping the iced coffee for something warm. Notice how your body responds. You might feel more energized, more clear, more you. 🌿

Tag someone who could use a warm reminder.

🌬️ Living with asthma can feel like your body is holding its breath—tight chest, shallow breathing, that anxious feeling when you can’t quite get a full inhale.

If you’ve ever felt like your lungs are fighting you instead of supporting you, you’re not alone. I see so many patients who feel frustrated, exhausted, and limited by their breath.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Lungs are seen as the "tender organ"—sensitive to change, emotion, and external elements like wind, dryness, and allergens. When Lung qi is weak or obstructed, it can show up as wheezing, shortness of breath, congestion, or frequent respiratory infections.

Acupuncture helps open the lungs by restoring flow—relaxing the chest, reducing inflammation, calming the immune response, and supporting your body’s ability to breathe deeply and fully again.

Many of my patients with asthma notice that they can take deeper breaths, sleep more peacefully, and move through the day with more energy and less tension. It’s not just about symptom relief—it’s about reconnecting with your breath and the vitality that comes with it.

📞 Call us at (619)-356-1225 to schedule your consultation and first treatment. Let’s help your lungs open, soften, and support you the way they’re meant to. 🌿

🌿 May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and I just want to say this—whatever you’re carrying, whatever you’ve been navigating quietly, it matters. You matter.

Mental health isn't just about what's happening in your mind—it's deeply connected to the body. The tension in your chest, the clenching in your jaw, the fatigue that won’t lift, the sense of being overwhelmed even when everything looks “fine” on the outside... we feel it everywhere.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, we view emotional wellness as inseparable from physical health. Each organ system is linked to an emotion—grief in the Lungs, worry in the Spleen, anger or frustration in the Liver, fear in the Kidneys, and joy (or the lack of it) in the Heart. When emotions build up or go unprocessed, they don’t just disappear—they settle in the body.

Acupuncture helps by creating space—for your nervous system to soften, for your breath to deepen, for stuck energy to move, and for your whole system to recalibrate.

This month, give yourself permission to feel. To rest. To ask for help. And if acupuncture feels like a step toward support, we’re here to walk with you.

📞 Call us at 619-356-1225 to schedule your consultation and first treatment. You don’t have to hold it all alone.

🌼 Seasonal allergies can be so frustrating. The sneezing, the congestion, the itchy eyes… It can feel like your body is working against you just for going outside or opening a window.

But here’s the thing—your body wants to protect you. It’s just working a little too hard in the wrong direction.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, we don’t just treat the symptoms—we support your whole system, especially the Wei Qi (your body's defensive energy, kind of like the immune system in TCM terms). When Wei Qi is strong and balanced, your body becomes less reactive to allergens in your environment.

Acupuncture helps by calming inflammation, regulating your immune response, and strengthening your overall vitality. Instead of masking symptoms, we work to shift the root imbalance—helping you feel clearer, lighter, and more in sync with the season.

I’ve seen patients who once dreaded spring finally walk outside and breathe deeply without reaching for antihistamines. Relief is possible—and it can be long-lasting when you support your body from the inside out.

📞 Call us at 619-356-1225 to schedule your consultation and first treatment. Let’s help your body flow with the season, not fight against it. 🌿

April is Stress Awareness Month—but let’s be real… we don’t need a reminder that stress exists. Most of us are carrying more than we realize—mentally, emotionally, physically.

Whether it’s the constant juggling, the pressure to be everything for everyone, or just the background hum of anxiety that never quite shuts off, stress shows up in our bodies. It might look like tight shoulders, digestive issues, fatigue, headaches, or restless sleep. Sound familiar?

This is where acupuncture comes in—not as a quick fix, but as a deeply restorative practice that helps your whole system exhale.

When you're on the table, the world slows down. Your nervous system begins to shift out of fight-or-flight, your breathing deepens, and your body starts to remember what it feels like to feel safe, calm, and balanced.

Acupuncture helps regulate cortisol, ease tension, calm the mind, and support emotional resilience. Many of our patients say they feel like themselves again—lighter, more grounded, more present.

So this Stress Awareness Month, let it be more than awareness. Let it be an invitation to care for your body and nervous system in a way that’s nourishing and lasting.

📞 Call us at 619-356-1225 to schedule your consultation and first treatment. Let’s help your body remember calm. 🌿

🌿 If you live with IBS, you know it’s more than just a “sensitive stomach.” It’s planning your day around bathroom access. It’s canceling plans because you’re too bloated to zip your jeans. It’s the emotional weight that comes with never knowing how your body will respond to a meal.

That unpredictability can feel exhausting—and honestly, so isolating. But I want you to know, you’re not alone. And more importantly, there’s support for your system that doesn’t involve suppressing symptoms or pushing through discomfort.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, IBS often points to an imbalance in the Spleen, Liver, and digestive qi. Bloating, for example, can come from what we call “qi stagnation” or “dampness” in the gut—meaning things aren’t moving the way they should.

Acupuncture helps regulate your digestion, calm the nervous system, and reduce inflammation—all while addressing the stress that so often makes everything worse. When your gut and nervous system can actually communicate in harmony, that’s when true healing begins.

I’ve watched patients who once felt controlled by their symptoms finally feel at home in their bodies again. Lighter, more regular, more at ease.

📞 Call us at 619-356-1225 to schedule your consultation and first treatment. Let’s bring balance back to your belly—and your life. 🌸

Acid reflux—it can feel like a flame inside you, disrupting your meals, your sleep, your life. That burning sensation, the tightness, the discomfort that lingers... I hear this from so many patients. It’s not just an occasional nuisance; it’s something that chips away at your comfort and peace of mind.

What if I told you that relief isn’t just possible—it’s already within reach? 💫

Acupuncture offers a gentle, holistic approach to calming the fire inside. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, acid reflux often stems from an imbalance in the Stomach and Liver meridians. These imbalances can lead to what we call "rebellious qi"—energy moving upward instead of settling calmly where it belongs.

By working with key acupuncture points, like ST36 (Zusanli) to harmonize digestion and PC6 (Neiguan) to calm the esophagus and ease discomfort, we can restore balance and bring soothing relief. Each session helps your body remember how to digest and process with ease. I’ve seen patients reclaim their joy in eating again, sleep through the night without waking from discomfort, and feel empowered by the profound shifts in their health. This is the beauty of acupuncture—it helps your body heal itself.

If acid reflux has been dimming your light, it doesn’t have to anymore. Let’s start your journey back to comfort and harmony, one needle at a time. 🌸
