I love this quote from the Dalai Lama and wanted to share it with you so that you can come back to this when you forget your worth.

“Self-hatred is a mistake.
Every being is precious.”
— The Dalai Lama

Sometimes our inner critic is so loud that we’re forget our inherent worth.

🌧️It’s like a dark cloud that covers up the sun…. but remember- just because we don’t see the sun on a rainy doesn’t mean it’s not there 🌦️

Same applies to your self-worth: it’s always there and always will be. We just need to remember it and return to it with intention to care about yourself deeply.

💭 What helps you remember your worth when self-doubt shows up?

Sometimes the harder we try to stay in control, the worse things get. 😣

Control feels safe. But what if clinging too tightly is what’s keeping you anxious, exhausted, and burned out?

True freedom begins in the pause—when you loosen your grip and allow yourself to be present with what is instead of fighting against it.

In our daily lives, gripping too tightly comes at a cost: our health, our presence, and our peace.

Click here to read more about the power of the pause—and how letting go can actually give you back more clarity, peace, and energy.

Most of us want to feel calm, happy, and in control of our emotions. But here’s the catch—trying to control your feelings is the very thing that makes them worse.

Truth ➡️ Your emotions don’t need to be fixed—they need to be felt.

Fact ➡️ Science shows us emotions naturally move through in about 90 seconds… unless we get stuck feeding them with negative thought loops.

In this video, I’ll share why letting emotions flow (instead of fighting them) is the real path to calm, presence, and well-being.

A bit about me...

It has been my life’s mission to help children be seen and heard, and to teach parents how to find joy in raising a child and enjoy being a parent. The heart of parenting is in the way we connect with our children!

The seeds of this mission was planted long-ago when I was growing up in the beautiful rural area of Finland, a country where snow and darkness reigns most of the year. My serene childhood drastically changed after my parents divorced which resulted in my father’s empty promises to stay in touch, and my mother having to focus on raising two kids as a single mom. I, just like so many other kids of divorced parents, was left by myself not knowing how to deal with all the big and confusing feelings. I was left alone to grow and develop. Disconnected from my dad, and having a mom in a survival mode who was not able to meet my needs for connection and nurturing.

When I am asked about my childhood now, the story goes: “I was raised by the forest, Mother Earth herself.” All my time was spent in the woods that I found so magical and comforting. I created a deep bond with nature which over time grew into spirituality and a worldview based on harmony governed by natural laws and cycles.

When I was in the forest, IT loved me and cared for me. IT was there for me when no-one else showed up. But, there was vast emptiness and a longing for connection which I carry deep in my heart to this date.
