We recently spent time with Mr. Abrahams, and he was all smiles during his visit with Cash, one of our pet therapy dogs. Moments like these remind us how meaningful comfort, companionship, and simple connection can be during hospice care.

Holiday Music and Smiles 🎅

Over the holidays, our Radiant Hospice music therapy volunteers spent a joyful day at Skyview Gardens and Huntington Gate Chateau, sharing Christmas music and festive cheer. Residents joined in with tambourines and enjoyed a visit from Santa.

We’re grateful for the warm welcome from staff and residents at both communities. Moments like these remind us how meaningful music, connection, and shared joy can be 🤍

A Sweet Holiday Afternoon at Skyview Gardens 🍪

Over the holidays, we shared a festive cookie decorating day with residents at Skyview Gardens, filled with holiday cheer, creativity, and plenty of frosting. It was such a fun way to spend time together and share a few smiles.

A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful volunteers Nancy, Daisy, and Ruman for bringing so much care and enthusiasm to the day. Your kindness made this holiday visit truly special. 🤍

💜 Volunteer Spotlight: Beth Dotan 💜

This month, we’re celebrating Beth Dotan, one of our incredible volunteers whose compassion and dedication shine in everything she does.

“I chose Radiant Hospice because of a conversation in 2024 with our Chaplain Brad Villen, who suggested I call [Volunteer Coordinator] Socorro about volunteer opportunities. I am a retired RN and was looking for my next volunteer path after being in the hospital in Surgical Services. After talking to Socorro and meeting the team at orientation, I knew I had chosen the right next volunteer path.

I’ve been with Radiant almost 2 1/2 years and have become the seamstress for the memory bear program making a keepsake from an article of our patient’s clothing. This is my favorite part of my volunteer duties as my hobby is sewing.”

Beth’s compassion and skill make her an invaluable part of our volunteer family. We’re so grateful for the heart she brings to every stitch, every call, and every moment of care. 🌸
