https://www.easywaytolivewell.com/ I spent most of my upbringing always wondering “why am I different.” Deep inside me I knew I was meant to create more in life, but through the conditioning of the masses I gave up my power and I didn’t know how to be myself. Not knowing what it was to be in my essence, it led me to have negative habits like overdrinking, overeating, not working out, extreme weight gain and loss, chronic stress and anxiety, joint pain, and depression ending up in negative & abusive relationships, and with no energy to want to enjoy the fresh breath of life. True transformational journey began. Having no knowledge on why and what caused me to have Thyroid Cancer, I began looking for answers. Through time those answers led me to start changing everything that I put into my body, I began to connect with holistic healers, doctors, and dove into holistic medicine. It began to create a connection with my body like no other. I changed everything from what I ate, what I wore, and even what I brought into my home. It became my new way of healthy living and my life transformed. However, it wasn’t until I got pregnant and my 2nd mission in life began. My daughter Olivia was born with life threatening allergies such as tree nuts & dairy and I didn’t know about them until I had many months of sleepless nights watching my daughter suffer with horrible stomach pain. She was extremely uncomfortable even after breastfeeding and the only way to soothe her was to hold her day and night. I had to carry an Epi-Pen everywhere I went for her. I was constantly living in fear of the “worst case scenario” being a possibility for her and if she was even safe wherever we went. I spent a lot of time being hyper vigilant about all the foods that were around her and what people may offer her to eat every single moment of our days. We had to start cooking everything from scratch and be very intentional of where we ate because her life depended on it. My daughter had severe and very scary reactions to common foods like banana and avocado when I was told to introduce her to solid foods until it got to a point that she couldn't tolerate more than a handful of different foods without her vomiting or her body breaking into rashes. With that, I knew that big changes needed to be made and I also knew that I didn’t want my daughter to feel deprived of any foods, or to feel different from the other kids around her in social settings experiencing the joy that food can bring and being able to participate and feel included in birthday parties or at school. Embracing and living through this diverse diet allowed me to dive even deeper into what defines a healthy lifestyle. And with that, it led me to a whole other discovery. I began to put further focus on shopping and consuming locally sourced products, to researching and studying products that were available for sale in the marketplace that support my and my daughter’s health goals and to find different ways to live an even more holistic and non toxic lifestyle. While organic living & holistic health is slowly making its way through the masses, there is still a disconnect for those who deal with food sensitivities like my daughter Olivia and I noticed that it is still very difficult to find healthy foods and non toxic living choices and available everywhere and that the information available to all who are interested in a healthy non toxic living lifestyle is still very limited, confusing, product labels and formulations are hard to understand and that it is very difficult to find a step by step guide with consulting only one source that leads people into finally achieving their healthy living goals and feeling supported with their food allergies and restricted diets and through their healing journey after a medical diagnosis. So although we can’t control what the masses define as healthy eating, we can control the choices we make about what we put into our bodies and what we bring into our environments and how they make us feel and about the things that we choose to buy and if they harm or if they contribute to our health, energy and longevity. Creating our path to an easy way to live well.
