We are honored to be a part of this publication. The Zoomposium took place at the height of the pandemic and gave us a little shot of needed hope at that time. A big thanks to Dr. Jorge Lucero part of the art department at the University of Illinois for bringing us all together and making sure this book got published:
Dear friends, it has been a long, long time coming. At the beginning of the pandemic 39 artist-scholar-teachers from all over the world took up the question, “What Happens at the Intersection of Conceptual Art and Teaching?” in a live 6 hour and 10 minute zoomposium. We then got to work on the publication of all the work presented that night. Catalina Hernández Cabal and I had the honor to edit and steer this project. All 100 images in the book were reinterpreted as graphite drawings by artist Lydia Ahn. beautifully designed the bookwork and the published it!! And now it’s here for you to own. My website has a shop now (follow link in bio), but you will also soon be able to get it through , Chicago’s premiere independent art book store.
