🌺

Probably love has totally disappeared from this world. Love implies generosity, care, not to hurt another, not to make another feel guilty, to be generous, courteous, and behave in such a manner that your words and thoughts are born out of compassion. Of course you cannot be compassionate if you belong to organized religious institutions – large, powerful, traditional, dogmatic, that insist on faith. There must be freedom to love. That love is not pleasure, desire, a remembrance of things that have gone. Love is not the opposite of jealousy, hate and anger.

All this may sound rather utopian, idealistic; something that man can only aspire to. But if you believe that then you will go on killing. Love is as real, as strong, as death. It has nothing to do with imagination, or sentiment, or romanticism; and naturally it has nothing to do with power, position, prestige. It is as still as the waters of the sea and as powerful as the sea; it is like the running waters of a rich river flowing endlessly, without a beginning or an end.

On this sacred occasion of Guru Purnima, I offer my deepest gratitude to all my teachers — seen and unseen, past and present.

My journey began with my first gurus: my parents, whose values shaped me; my grandparents, uncles, sisters, husband, friends, and children — each of whom has taught me through love, support, challenge, and reflection.

To all the teachers who have shared the timeless wisdom of yoga with me over the past decade, I bow with folded hands:

🌺 From Samyak Yogamy first teachers: Rakeshji, Trupta, Arvindji — your teachings lit the first spark.
🌺 From , Boston: Rizopolous and Patricia Walden, whose depth and precision expanded my practice.

🌺 Kripalu, who introduced me to the stillness and power of Yoga Nidra.

🌺 Krishna and , my first guides in Pranayama.
🌺 Swami Mahesh to grant clarity on Yoga philosophy, Ta**ra, Chakra and numerous other philosophical wisdom.
🌺 Indu Arora who deepened my understanding of Ayurveda and mudra.

🌺 Monique Lonner for granting me the lens to see Yoga from Therapy perspective and empowering me the skills to assist all ages.

🌺 .AnandaBhavnani Sir and Deepikaji , with whom I dove deep into the wisdom and subtlety of Pranayama.

🌺 I am also profoundly thankful to Dr. David Frawley and Dr. Swami Shankar, from whom I learned the intricate layers of Ayurveda and Chakra Dharana, respectively.

And most importantly, to
🌺 Sri M, for gracing me with Kriya and guiding me on the path of spiritual growth — your presence continues to be a light on my inner journey.

Each of you has left a lasting imprint on my path, and for that, I am forever grateful.

With reverence and love — Happy Guru Purnima. 🙏

Tongue and the toes.. Fascinating!

Tongue and the toes.. Fascinating!

This is interesting..🤔🧐

From birth, your tongue is actually connected to your toes through an intricate network of connective tissue known as fascia.

If your tongue is not resting correctly in your mouth due to mouth breathing, things can get out of alignment in your mouth and the rest of your body.
Tongue posture can lead to a foot imbalance and vice versa because the tongue guides all myofascial continuity structures that run from the inner arch of the foot up through the middle of the body to the tongue and jaw muscles.

When the tongue sits on top of the palate, it seals the oral cavity and holds the throat open like a tent. These muscles support the neck, keep your posture straight, help you breathe, and maintain your posture up**ght.
Your tongue also acts as a rudder and support system through a fascial line, and when the tongue is down, we breathe through our mouth, and the head falls forward due to lack of support, which leads to poor posture and increased energy expenditure.

At one point, my athletic side led me to yoga through the practice of asanas. But soon, I felt the pull to explore something deeper—a curiosity about life, the force that animates us, and the mysteries beyond. This led me to ancient texts, indigenous philosophies, and a deeper inquiry into the human experience. Meditation became the key to quieting my mind and satisfying that inner urge. Now, I approach asanas with a sense of playfulness—using them to care for my body, align my energy, and create the foundation for a more centered meditation practice.

"Grandma how do you deal with pain?"
"With your hands, dear. When you do it with your mind, the pain hardens even more."
“With your hands, grandma?"
"Yes, yes. Our hands are the antennas of our Soul. When you move them by sewing, cooking, painting, touching the earth or sinking them into the earth, they send signals of caring to the deepest part of you and your Soul calms down. This way she doesn't have to send pain anymore to show it.
"Are hands really that important?"
"Yes my girl. Think of babies: they get to know the world thanks to their touch.
When you look at the hands of older people, they tell more about their lives than any other part of the body.
Everything that is made by hand, so it is said, is made with the heart because it really is like this: hands and heart are connected.
Think of lovers: When their hands touch, they love each other in the most sublime way."
"My hands grandma... how long since I used them like that!"
"Move them my love, start creating with them and everything in you will move.
The pain will not pass away. But it will be the best masterpiece. And it won't hurt as much anymore, because you managed to embroider your Essence.”~

Forgive to be free .. [Claimed to be] A Traditional Náhuatl Prayer

Forgive to be free ..

[Claimed to be] A Traditional Náhuatl Prayer

[Claimed to be] A Traditional Náhuatl Prayer.

‘I release my parents from the feeling that they have failed with me.

I release my children from the need to make me proud, so that they can write their own ways, according to their hearts.

I release my partner from the obligation to make me feel complete. I lack nothing in myself.

I learn with all the beings that surround me through all time.

I thank my grandparents and ancestors who met so that today I breathe life. And I release them from the faults of the past and from the wishes they did not fulfill, aware that they did the best they could to resolve their situations, within the consciousness they had at that moment. I honor them, I love them, and I recognize their innocence.

I bare my soul before their eyes and that is why they know that I do not hide or owe anything, more than being faithful to myself and my own existence walking with the wisdom of the heart.

I am aware that I am fulfilling my life project, free of visible and invisible family loyalties that may disturb my peace and my happiness, which are my greatest responsibilities.

I renounce the role of savior, of being the one who unites or who fulfills the expectations of others. And learning through LOVE, I bless my essence and my way of expressing, although there may be someone who cannot understand me.

I understand myself, because only I lived and experienced my story; because I know myself, I know who I am, what I feel, what I do and why I do it.

I respect and approve.

I honor the Divinity in me and in you... We are free.”

(This ancient blessing was created in the Náhuatl language in the central region of Mexico, which deals with forgiveness, affection, detachment and liberation.)

It’s dark because you are trying too hard.
Lightly child, lightly. Learn to do everything lightly.
Yes, feel lightly even though you’re feeling deeply.
Just lightly let things happen and lightly cope with them.
I was so preposterously serious in those days, such a humorless little p**g.
Lightly, lightly – it’s the best advice ever given me.
When it comes to dying even. Nothing ponderous, or portentous, or emphatic.
No rhetoric, no tremolos,
no self conscious persona putting on its celebrated imitation of Christ or Little Nell.
And of course, no theology, no metaphysics.
Just the fact of dying and the fact of the clear light.
So throw away your baggage and go forward.
There are quicksands all about you, sucking at your feet,
trying to suck you down into fear and self-pity and despair.
That’s why you must walk so lightly.
Lightly my darling,
on tiptoes and no luggage,
not even a sponge bag,
completely unencumbered.
