Great spending time with the Ambu team this week at the Tidewater EMS Conference.

Using hyper-realistic Decent airway trainers alongside AIRO suction, Ambu airway equipment, and real-world workflows, we’ve had some great hands-on conversations around training, performance, and system design.

We recently spent time with the crew at Roanoke County Fire & Rescue Station 3. Firefighter Grayson Chitwood walked us through their apparatus, gear setups, and how they operate on scene. From roles on a call to how equipment is organized and deployed, it’s clear performance is built into their system—not left to chance.

Always great to see thoughtful setups in the wild, including their use of Resus Tailor drug bags.
