In an emergency, seconds matter—and so does the information first responders need to save a life. A medical ID, whether in the form of a bracelet or saved to the Medical ID section on a smartphone, communicates critical health information instantly when someone can’t speak for themselves.

This week, we had the opportunity to attend the Alzheimer's Association of San Diego/Imperial Chapter's Business Breakfast: The Impact of Alzheimer's on the Workplace. It was an informative session with a panel of employers sharing how they are incorporating practices to support their teams in the fight against Alzheimer's.

Now is the time for employers to support their team members who are caring for a loved one with Alzheimer's, or who may be facing their own Alzheimer's diagnosis. A few ways that employers can take the next step:
