We will be starting our next round of PEERS Boot Camp for Adolescents (ages 11-17) on Monday 8/1/22. This is a shorter version of PEERS, lasting 4 weeks. Just in time to learn, review, and practice social skills for the start of the new year! See the flyer attached for more info.

What: PEERS Boot Camp for Adolescents

When: Monday evenings 5:30-7:00pm. 8/1, 8/8, 8/15, 8/22

Where: virtual - parent and teen will receive a link to join (must be in CA to attend virtually)

Why: To be better prepared socially for this upcoming school year, and to help learn how to make and keep friends!

How: Parent and teen both attend separate virtual meetings from 5:30-6:45pm. Then we all join together from 6:45-7pm to review.
Cost: $150 for initial intake assessment. $90 per session (4 sessions). Total price: $510. (We do not take insurance at this time)

Fantastic article in the LA Times on how the pandemic has contributed to social regression and anxiety in our teens. "Relational skills are like muscles that need to be exercised. And those muscles inevitably weakened while kids were in lockdown".
