Dear Community,
Thank you for supporting this project for the last 6 years. Together we have served hundreds of families.
What began as a mutual aid initiative blossomed into what is now which is home to some amazing projects between San Diego and Chicago, thanks to
2/22/22 and I (Elydé) made a commitment to support this body of work in its expansion. We felt how the spirit of The Clinic was so much bigger than what we could imagine. Now in 2026 we archive this project knowing that it's spirit still continues to live on in all the lives we impacted and the seeds we planted. The weaving continues and I am excited to see what is to come next.

***Sacred Birth Fund***
Please meet one of our amazing clinic volunteers, Javiera
She is a birthworker, bodyworker, and Craniasacral Fascial therapist. We are asking our community to support this fund either by donating, sharing, and tagging financial resources.

"Hi! I’m Javiera and I am a mother, birth worker and body worker who has been serving the San Diego community since 2018 with For the Village and The People's Holistic Clinic, as well as having my own practice.

My passion is in being of service to other families as they birth their babies. I love supporting others in settling into their bodies with gentle bodywork and changing the way we think about, talk about, and experience the birth of our children.

I believe that we all deserve access to quality care that supports mind, body, and spirit.

I am now pregnant with our third child and calling in the financial support of community so we can pay for the care that will help us towards our goal of a beautiful, peaceful and transformative birth and postpartum experience.

My wish is to birth at home and rest for the first six weeks postpartum. It was a lot for my body to heal after #2, so I am prioritizing postpartum care this time. If you are able, please consider supporting our fund to bring forth this baby in peace and love.

We are hoping to raise $8,920 to go towards birth support, 6 weeks of postpartum care and bodywork in pregnancy and postpartum, while giving our support team their full living wage. "
