Round windows create a sense of symmetry and balance, which contribute to the overall calming atmosphere of a space. Plus, the number three is often associated with harmony and completeness.

Having windows in a meditation studio can be beneficial because they allow natural light to enter the space, which helps create a calming and peaceful environment. Natural light can also help regulate the body's natural circadian rhythms, which can promote relaxation and enhance the overall experience of meditation.

What's in a name?

The meditation lounge is located in the heart of San Diego's "Crown Point" neighborhood, steps from the sparkling sands of Sail Bay Beach at Mission Bay.

But there's more to it than that...

The "crown point journey" is a spiritual practice that involves working with the crown chakra to cultivate a sense of connection with the divine. This can involve various techniques, such as meditation, visualizations, and breathwork, to open and balance the crown chakra and allow the individual to access higher states of consciousness.

It is believed that when the crown chakra is open and balanced, an individual may experience a sense of unity with the universe, inner peace, and spiritual fulfillment.

When we were creating the icon for our logo - we played around with a lot of sacred shapes but kept coming back to the circle.

The circle is a common symbol in many spiritual traditions, and it can be seen as representing the infinite wisdom of the universe. Because a circle has no beginning or end, it is also seen as a symbol of the eternal and boundless nature of the universe, and of the many mysteries and secrets that it holds. In other traditions, the circle is viewed as a symbol of unity and wholeness, representing the idea that all of creation is interconnected and part of a larger whole.

A bar (also called an overbar) is a horizontal line written above a symbol to emphasize its meaning.

We also wanted to reinforce the connection between the studio's name, location, and the healing services we offer. The circle shape combined with the line on top can indeed be seen as resembling the shape of a gong or the top of a crown.

Our mission is to provide full-body meditation experiences that facilitate deep transformation and make room for new energies and meaningful relationships.
