So many sinus and allergy patients already this year!

Spring has sprung, and that means your seasonal allergies might be here, too. Here are a few of the best natural remedies for allergies:
1️⃣ Limit exposure to allergens
2️⃣ Cover up to keep pollen and allergen particles from getting into your eyes and hair
3️⃣ Wash off as soon as you come in from outside to rinse lingering allergens out of your hair and off your skin
4️⃣ Tweak your workout routine to incorporate more low-impact exercises when your allergies are running rampant
5️⃣ Keep the air inside your home clean by keeping your doors and windows closed. Filters and air purifiers can help, too.

The Mukaino Method was developed by Dr. Mukaino in Fukuoka Japan. It's a simple diagnostic and treatment protocol that provides the practitioner with a comprehensive overview of the patient’s body, quickly illuminating areas of pain, imbalance, and restriction by assessing the quality of movement with the potential of immediately resolving them.
 
Acupuncture points are tested by repeating the identified impaired movements while selected points are gently stimulated along the affected meridians to see whether they improver the ranges of movement.
 
By focusing on movement (including pain and range of motion), practitioners develop a common language that can be understood across medical disciplines but most importantly of all is implicitly understood by the patient.

Some of my favorite tools, and probably the most surprising to my patients, aren't needles! Acupressure is so effective with pain management. It's not always necessary to puncture the skin in order to affect the nervous system and I've found some pretty fun tools over the years!

What is it?
Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is light touch massage that encourages the natural drainage of the lymph, which carries waste products away from the tissue to be filtered out through the circulatory system.
