Grateful for all of the people, the experiences, and the opportunities to help more people this year.

Couldn’t have done without my family, our incredible team, and our amazing patients and community.

For you all out there, let this be a reminder that someone out there is grateful for you.

That shooting pain down your shoulder or arm? That’s not a tight muscle

it’s an irritated nerve 😣

Stretching might feel good for a second, but it usually makes it worse later

Try off-loading the nerve instead:

✅ Support your arm

✅ Slightly tilt your head toward the painful side

✅ Let that nerve chill out 😌

And seriously
 stop scrolling. Your neck needs a break đŸ“”

Most people are stretching the wrong things, the wrong way, and wondering why nothing changes

Pulling on your head? Pinching the front of your shoulders? That’s not helping, that’s irritating 😬

Instead try:

✅ Bench extensions for upper-back freedom

✅ Cable shrugs to relax tension

✅ Scorpions for controlled range

This is quite disheartening to see


More and more often, doctors are just giving in to MRI demands, when there isn’t a clear reason to say that the patient ACTUALLY needs one.

I just want patients to understand that through a proper assessment, they will more often get a much clearer picture of the cause of their pain, and that MRIs should only be used when absolutely necessary.

MRIs are physically harmless, but oftentimes can send patients down a mental spiral when they see the report.

All without a detailed assessment to understand HOW the findings got there in the first place, or if the findings are even related to their pain.

In the morning, .lajolla is hosting their “Game Day” In-House competition

Teams of 3 (Men’s/Women’s/Mixed Categories) will be competing in a team competition for prizes

This is for anyone who is dealing with mobility issues that are limiting them during their workouts or even outside of the gym itself, and are looking to get specific tips and insights on how to address their specific issues
