Kick-Off! Today we all gathered for our first meeting for planning this year’s Alzheimer’s Association walk. Every person in this room, the majority of which are volunteers, has a personal story of lossand heartache due to the devastation of cognitive disease. 10s of billions of dollars in research money has been spent and still there is no cure nor even effective pharmaceutical intervention.

OUR MISSION TO ENSURE ACCESS TO ALL:
I recently joined the Board of Directors for the San Diego County YMCA-Mottino Branch/Oceanside. This year, my branch has a goal of raising $123,000 for the purpose of ensuring that everyone has access to the YMCA.
The money we raise is totally dedicated to supporting our scholarship program so low-income families, youths, and seniors can participate in the multitude of valuable programs offered at the YMCA.
MATCHING CAMPAIGN: Every dollar that you contribute to this year's campaign, up to $2,500, will be matched 1:1! Every gift is 100% tax deductible.
Your generous donation will help to make sure that no one in our community ever has a door closed on them and is never turned away from access to a healthier and happier life!
