Radial Keratotomy Repairs are a fairly common repair for a type of surgery (RK) done many years ago. In an RK procedure, a surgeon makes small but deep incisions in the cornea with the goal of flattening it. However, these incision were made by hand and often difficult to make perfect and result in many vision problems later on in life. This video shows the laser reconstruction of the eye, or Dr. Motwani's CREATE Protocol, that helps reshape the cornea in place to help restore vision.

Yes, keratoconus can cause headaches in some cases. The condition, which involves thinning and bulging of the cornea into a cone shape, often leads to visual disturbances like blurred vision, eye strain, and double vision. These vision problems can cause the eyes to work harder to focus, potentially leading to eye strain and, consequently, headaches.

Headaches may also occur if an individual with keratoconus has uncorrected or poorly corrected vision, as the brain struggles to interpret unclear signals from the eyes. Undergoing treatment for keratoconus helps alleviate this issue and we offer that treatment!
