On National Camera Day and in honor of Disability Pride Month (July), we would like to share a chilling and thrilling video created by our SEC - Chula Vista facility program participants. We are so proud of our program participants’ creativity, dedication, and enthusiasm. We also wanted to express our gratitude to Las Primeras for their grant, which helped us buy supplies for SEC film projects.
Hope you all enjoy “Vampire Slayers vs Vladstein”. Please view the video here -

Community Health Improvement Week honors those working in partnership to improve the health and well-being of individuals and communities. At Vista Hill Foundation, we know that we’re only as strong as the communities we serve. We thank our social workers, therapists, and healthcare professionals for striving each day to support health and well-being in the community. Their commitment helps us provide critical services and programs to individuals and families facing mental health challenges, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and substance use disorders.

Mental health is a vital aspect of our overall well-being and yet it is often overlooked or stigmatized. Nearly 1 in 5 American adults have a diagnosable mental health condition in any given year. There are 42.5 million adults with anxiety disorders in the United States. Vista Hill Foundation’s Accessible Depression and Anxiety Peripartum Treatment (ADAPT) program serves pregnant and postpartum women throughout San Diego County. ADAPT provides accessible mental health services to individuals who screen positive for perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. Learn more at https://www.vistahill.org/programs-services/adapt/
