Pssst... this is also a fun and easy weekly wrap up that you can use to target so many goals!

Take turns having each student pick their emojis and letting the rest of the group guess. Just a few goals that you can target with this are:

✅ Describing: have students describe each emoji to help them guess, and have the emoji author describe the event
✅ Wh Questions: turn it into a game of 20 questions and have the guessers ask wh- questions until they figure it out
✅ Inferencing: help students think critically, connect the dots, and make logical inferences (e.g. if a student picked a puppy and a gift box emoji, help them figure out how those things could be related and what they can infer from that connection - someone might’ve gotten a new puppy as a gift)!

Just for fun… describe something that happened this week using only emojis and see if anyone can guess what it was correctly!
