Teen Challenge has such an incredible Legacy of depending on miracles and divine appointments. We found our old fundraising crate that we used for decades for counting up all the coins from our men's fundraising efforts. Although times have changed the faithfulness of God and the Miracles continue to pave the way forward for this ministry.

Thank you to all of our supporters and prayer warriors who stand in agreement with us every day may God continue to bless you in Jesus name.

Dear friends and family!

We are thrilled to share some powerful updates from San Diego Teen Challenge that speak to the life-changing work happening through your faithful support.
This past weekend, we celebrated the promotion of our July class of students to the next phase of the program. Surrounded by family, staff, and brothers in Christ, these men stood strong in their commitment to continue the journey of recovery, restoration, and discipleship. It was a beautiful evening marked by prayer, worship, and gratitude for how far God has brought each one of them.

And the celebration didn't stop there!

Earlier this week, we witnessed an incredible moment as many of our students publicly declared their faith through water baptism at the bay. With arms lifted high and hearts surrendered, these men boldly stepped into new life, leaving behind the old and embracing a future full of hope and purpose in Christ.

These milestones are a direct reflection of your prayers, encouragement, and generous partnership. Thank you for investing in the transformation of lives right here in San Diego.

Please continue to pray for these men as they take the next steps in their journey. We are confident that God, who began a good work in them, will be faithful to complete it.

A new monthly series posted for our promoting and graduating students starts today!

This new series is called A New Chapter: Castle Bound or TCMi Bound respectively to the student either completing the Induction Phase or completing a Restoration/Apprenticeship. This will now allow us to highlight and celebrate our promoting students while staying within our social media limitations.

So please congratulate our June 2025 Promoting Student Class who are transferring to the Castle in Riverside today and our June 2025 Graduating Apprentices: Pepsi Rajsombath and Troy McRoberts who are starting their first Quarter at TCMi this week!

Dear Friends,

On behalf of the entire San Diego Teen Challenge family, we want to extend our deepest thanks to each golfer, sponsor, volunteer, and supporter who helped make the 2025 Hank Sauer Memorial Golf Tournament one of the most successful events in our history.

Your generosity, prayers, and partnership helped raise vital support for our mission—to see lives transformed through the power of Jesus Christ. Every swing, every sponsorship, and every moment on the course was more than just a game—it was a stand for hope, healing, and freedom for those bound by addiction.

We give all glory to God for what He is doing through this ministry. Because of you, more men and families will find a path to restoration through the life-changing love of Christ.

As Psalm 126:3 declares, “The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.” We truly are!

Attention all SoCal Alumni! We are having a Backyard BBQ event on June 28th at the Lassanske's house in Ramona! We had such a great turnout at our annual Alumni Bonfire back in April, we would love to see all of you again at the end of the month to officially kick off the summer season. Come join us for great fellowship, outdoor/indoor games, incredible food and a movie to wrap the evening up. Event is from 3pm-9pm, come when like; however, dinner will be served promptly at 5pm! Staff Spotlight: San Diego Teen Challenge and Teen Challenge of Southern California would like to honor and congratulate two of our staff members who have reached an incredible milestone.

Gary Lassanske and Dan Garber both received an award at our annual, in-house, conference, Spiritual Emphasis at the Castle in Riverside for completing 20 years of service in the ministry.

Gary serves as our Assistant Director here at San Diego; overseeing planning and scheduling, operations, staff and apprentices, and so much more. Dan serves as our maintenance guru—our building is still standing strong today because of Dan Garber! He also serves as an Advisor to the men in the program having one of the highest completion rates for students moving from Induction to the Castle. Please comment below and say something encouraging to these men as they still continue to serve the Lord at Teen Challenge.
