The “Alchemy Cleanse” is a 10-day metabolic detox that helps to clean your body out, down to the cellular level.

It combines a specific set of tailor-made supplements hand-picked from me based on your current health issues and goals, along with certain foods that will aid in the cleansing process.

Your body's organs regenerate within a 3-hour window, on a 24-hour cycle.

If you're finding yourself waking up at a specific time each in the middle of the night, it may be that organ having trouble regenerating.

Possible sleep issues reoccurring around the same time every evening, could mean…

👉🏻Nutritional deficiency,
👉🏻Specific emotion that the body is holding onto and causing stress,

There are approximately 330 million people living in the United States and out of those, 49.1% are trying to lose weight.

What’s this telling us? It tells us that our society isn’t set up for us to be healthy. It’s telling us that we can’t afford to follow others and that we need to make better, healthier choices for ourselves.

🔥If you want to lose weight, a change needs to be made. While “wanting” to make a change is a step in the right direction, you need to be “ready” to make that change as well.

🔥Being ready to make a change involves looking at yourself and your life, the way you’ve been doing things and deciding you have suffered enough.

❌Until you are done suffering, no changes will be made, at least long lasting ones.

👉🏻Here are the 8 ways you can lose weight:

1️⃣Eat organic, grass-fed meats. Increase your healthy protein intake.

2️⃣Decrease grains, processed sugars and alcohol.

3️⃣Get more/better sleep - at least 7 to 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep.

4️⃣Lower stress - journaling, meditating, doing something active, getting some sunlight and grounding helps to de-stress your mind and body.

5️⃣Lift weights (resistance exercise)

6️⃣Move your body and increase your heart rate doing it.

7️⃣Have your Thyroid checked. If your thyroid is under functioning, it could lead to weight gain.

8️⃣Have your hormones checked (testosterone, estrogen, progesterone and cortisol). An imbalance and/or an increase in cortisol can lead to weight gain.

Your friendly reminder that mental health and mindset are a part of being healthy.

Whatever you’re holding onto so tightly, that you don’t want people to know about, judge you for, or criticize you over, doesn’t matter. We hold onto these things so tight because we don’t want to be on the receiving end of the above aforementioned.

The truth of the matter is, the tighter we hold onto these insecurities and things we don’t want people to know, the unhealthier we wind up becoming in mind and body.

I’ve heard so many times that when you turn 50 you give a s**t less about things you used to care about more. My advice, if you want to move towards greater health, LET GO of those things now and become comfortable with who you are.

The more you care less about what other people think, the healthier you’ll be!

Being a lover of all things tennis, naturally I decided to try out this newer recreational game called Pickle Ball. It’s apparently become all the rage, but most people don’t realize it actually began in 1965.

A cross between badminton, tennis and ping pong, it’s played on a badminton-sized court. So, if you think you can hit the ball as hard as you do when you’re playing tennis, you can’t. I apparently keep learning the hard way.

The moral here, this game gets your body moving, gets you outside where the sun can hit your face/body, and it is extremely social. So much so, it’s pretty easy to build a community, which is not only one of the “7 Pillars to Greater Health,” but is also really important for life balance.

Whether it’s Pickle Ball or something else, find what you enjoy to do in life. If it’s something that helps you move, gets you outside, gives you the ability to build community, lowers your stress levels and adds balance to your life then do it!

As we get older, our health & ability to stay healthy, becomes more about lifestyle & routine.

SLEEP is one of the 7 pillars to maintaining great health. It helps to:

🔥Boost the immune system so you get sick less often
🔥Regenerate your organs by stimulating lymph to remove waste/byproducts
🔥Lose weight by burning off unhealthy fat
🔥Lowers risk from serious health problems, like diabetes & heart disease
🔥Reduce stress & improve mood
🔥Increase mental clarity

Sleeping is one of my favorite things to do & over the years, I’ve become less capable of getting a restful night’s sleep.

🤷🏻‍♂️Wake up tired, regardless of how much sleep I get
🤷🏻‍♂️Hard time falling asleep
🤷🏻‍♂️Hard time staying asleep & getting up earlier than intended
🤷🏻‍♂️Hard time falling back to sleep
🤷🏻‍♂️Getting hot in the middle of the night

Our health is a reflection of how we choose to live. Here are some changes I’ve made:

👉🏻Keep the heat off at night. The colder your room is, the hotter your body gets, the more energy it releases.
👉🏻Sleep naked! Clothing impedes movement during sleep, makes your body hotter & decreases your ability to expel heat.
👉🏻No screen time an hour before sleep. Blue light from electronics will trick your body into thinking it’s still daylight.
👉🏻Finish eating food 2-3 hours before bedtime.
👉🏻Journal, meditate, stretch or do light yoga before bedtime to relax your mind & lower stress.
👉🏻If you have a child/children & they get up early in the morning, go to bed earlier.
👉🏻Get blood work done to see if you are deficient in certain amino acids (tryptophan), neurotransmitters (GABA), minerals (magnesium) & hormones (melatonin).

STAYING HEALTHY in today’s environment is a full-time job in itself.

There are a lot of different factors that are constantly bombarding us on a daily basis, which can weaken our immune system and cause us to get sick.

It’s now more important than ever to take care of our whole self and do certain things that not only strengthen our immune system, but strengthen us in mind and body.
