Last night was AMAZING!
And I didn’t take enough pictures😞

It was a beautiful intimate night we we all shared our experiences with manifesting and why sometimes it works and why sometimes it doesn’t!!

Belief and true intention are key, and not the HOW!

How things become reality is not up to you, so sometimes we get in our own way because we’re fixated on how we want our dreams to come true

Let things unfold if you truly want time. Feel it come true with every cell in your body and watch it unfold!

Overwhelmed or Underwhelmed?

Man this topic is really getting to me these days! I cannot help but think so many of us women that have given so much of ourselves with titles: mom, wife, sister, daughter, friend and have just lost ourselves and our identity because of so many hats we wear.

There is just not enough time in the day to be us, so we're overwhelmed! We don't feel seen, heard or sometimes appreciated. Yes, some of us have super supportive families, but others of us don't.

Even if we are supported if whatever that means:
financially
emotionally
mentally
spiritually
All of the above or maybe some, maybe none.

Regardless, we have so many responsibilities like cooking, cleaning, picking up and taking kids to school, sporting events and maybe running your business or working.
It's. A. LOT!!

So where do we have time for self-expression? We feel guilty if we take time for ourselves. And sometimes going to the grocery store alone is like a little vacation! SO CRAZY! We sacrifice ourselves and the results are great when are kids are amazing and everyone is happy.

But when that perimenopause hits? DAMN! its a BRICK WALL! And suddenly the hormones bring up all sorts of stuff.
We can feel depressed and just OVER IT!

SO here is the question, where can you take your power back? Where can you take back some time for you to find you?
Art? DANCE? Volunteer? Creative writing?

Here is another point of view: Covid isolated us, and we are CRAVING interaction with community. We need to give back and be apart of something bigger than us.

Yesterday I shared about "brain fog" and for me I kept blaming it on perimenopause

Which yes, of COURSE there are shifts happening with my hormones

And I did fasting, which helped tremendously with my symptoms of inflammation and digestion.

Right now I am working on my sleep schedule and how to get restful sleep. My doctor said I have insomnia, which I rejected though I don't sleep through the night, not up for HOURS but wake frequently and it takes about 10-15 minutes each time to fall back asleep.
Making a few small adjustments and already feeling a difference

Anyway, back to the post about yesterday, life is life-ing and some of us mom's have created and build this amazing family life, husband, supporting the family with love and raising cool freaking kids!!

In that amazing-ness, we sometimes lose ourselves. We put them first for so long that we forget who we are.

We lose creativity
We lose independence
We lose community
We lose connection

We no longer live in that "Tribe" life where moms, daughters, sisters, aunts have true connection, growth and love. raising family with true support. I am craving that, are you?

What I have seen is that community is found in some organizations like church, or other gatherings, but there is some trauma and drama around some of those organizations

My personal experience has not been great with religion, and we can see why in the news

What if it’s not brain fog…
what if it’s under-stimulation?

I’ve been hearing it more and more from high-functioning women in perimenopause, and I am going through it myself:

“I feel foggy.”
“My memory isn’t the same.”
“I’ve lost motivation.”
“Something feels off.”

Yes — hormones are shifting.
Estrogen fluctuates.
Dopamine gets affected.
Sleep changes.
That’s real.

But here’s the reframe no one is talking about:
What if part of the “fog” isn’t decline…
It’s under-engagement?

Many of us built beautiful, responsible, successful lives.
We handle work.
We handle family.
We handle everything.

But when was the last time we were:
• Deeply challenged?
• Learning something new?
• In a room that stretched us?
• Lit up by novelty?

The female brain thrives on stimulation, growth, connection, and purpose.

When those are missing, the nervous system dulls.
And dull can feel like fog.
Sometimes what we call “brain fog” is actually:
A creative system that’s bored.
A dopamine system that’s underfed.
A woman who has outgrown her current level.

Perimenopause isn’t always a breakdown.
Sometimes it’s an invitation.
To expand.
To reinvent.
To engage again.

So instead of asking:
“What supplement do I need?”

Maybe we ask:
“Where am I under-stimulated?”

Skill?
Community?
Adventure?
Creativity?

I know I am not alone in this thinking its overwhelm, but in reality I just don't have "ME" anymore because I give it all away

Why do you achieve some goals, and others fall short?
Some times you CRUSH it, and others you do everything right and still dont hit the goals?

It can be frustrating, especially when you're going after a big goal and years go by and you keep almost making it and fall short.

Can your unconscious mind really be sabotaging your goals?

YES!!

Your conscious mind (CM) is the goal setter, and the unconscious mind (UM) is the goal getter.

Your limiting beliefs (unworthy, stupid, failure to name a few) are deep rooted in the unconscious , this creates the block, or ceiling from actually achieving your goals.

And this is why sometimes you reach goals, and others you don’t. The ones you do reach are because you’re in total alignment, where your UM and CM are working together and they accomplish your goals.

When you clear up those limitations, habits, unconscious stories, you feel motivated but it’s more than that, it the calling that you feel attuned to that actually creates the magic of what you want.

What would a shift in your unconscious story do for you? What would be possible if you got out of your own way?

Bad GAS!! Here is why I started fasting

Yes, women fart! But man, something was going really wrong with my body… it was awful the last 2 weeks!

It was all the foods I normally don’t eat! Heavy on the carbs, fat and the worst culprit: SUGAR!
Cookies
Pie
Cake
Mac and cheese

And it was just upsetting my stomach and it was not ending. Sunday night I had enough! Went out to dinner and had steak and veggies, so a little cleaner, but then dessert 🍮
So yesterday morning I decided that Sunday's meal was the last thing I would eat

I didn’t plan on fasting, so I don’t know exactly when I had my last food, but I was home by 8, so I used that time to start the clock
and I wasn’t sure when I would end it...Ending it today after 36 hours

But the 💨 had significantly dropped by noon yesterday! Thank goodness! The science behind it is amazing, if you want to learn...comment below!

I have not fasted in a while, so this one is a “short” one but it was been the most difficult one I’ve gone through

Though I feel amazing. Hungry, but my mind is buzzing and I can feel energized

This is a water fast, so just water, electrolytes, coffee and some tea.
I did need some Fasted snacks at a couple of points: tbsp of MCT oil and a few hours later 1cup of bone broth.

I did measure my glucose to make sure I’m staying in the right levels.

We will start one as a group!! Who’s in??

Last minute decision to do a fast!! Literally just decided, last food was last night, so counting from 8 pm, will break my fast tomorrow morning or maybe tonight with some bone broth as 24 hours is enough to get the system reset.

My gut has been off for a couple of weeks, and I know I have been eating some foods that I normally avoid: Cookies, cakes, sugar, candies. Basically a lot of sugar so I have been feeding the bad bacterias and upsetting my micro-biomes in my digestive tract.

Later this month will do a 72 hour fast.....Who would like to join and learn about all the benefits of doing a water fast?
