TRAIN
We are still recruiting for the TRAIN Study at San Diego State University! If you have a child between the ages of 11-14, your family may be eligible to participate!
The study involves two to three visits to our research lab near San Diego State. Some families are selected to complete some computerized training at home between their first and second visits. Families are compensated $20 per hour for their participation as well as some other bonuses and prizes.
The visits involve an interview about your child's thoughts and feelings and an EEG that measures brainwaves non-invasively. They'll get to see their brainwaves and take a picture home!
It's a great opportunity for kids to earn some of their own money and learn about neuroscience!
Call 619-229-3740 to make an appointment! We can accommodate weekends and after school hours.
You can also email [email protected] or check out our website and inquire online: https://nas.psy.sdsu.edu/train.php

Congratulations to CUTA staff members including Jennie Kuckertz, Shaan McGhie, and Ollie D’Amico, who were selected to present their research at the Anxiety and Depression Association of America’s (ADAA) annual conference in San Francisco this past month! Our staff presented the latest results from our research examining how to best measure brain activity while it is happening (Ollie D’Amico), and how this helps us understand who responds to computerized interventions for anxiety (Jennie Kuckertz). Shaan McGie presented research on our efforts to better understand how post-traumatic stress symptoms relate to and influence each other. Congratulations also to Jennie Kuckertz, who was selected to participate in the Alies Muskin Career Development Leadership Program!
