Happy Workout Wednesday!!
We hear all the buzz about Pilates. We get it and we stand by the amazing benefits of it!
We have been offering various styles of Pilates for 7 years: Mat Pilates, Suspension Pilates, Hot Pilates, Pilates Fusion and we’ve offered other variations, and we LOVE them all!!
Seems like lately the word Pilates is everywhere, if you haven’t tried it, here’s your sign to do so. Pilates is a workout system that focuses in core strengthening, muscle toning and full body flexibility. It’s a combination of disciplines created to make our bodies and minds healthier and stronger.
In our Pilates classes you can expect to use a variety of props to make class extra fun and challenging, we use light weights, light or weighted balls, Pilates rings, bands, blocks and even the TRX straps. No two classes are ever the same as our instructors create a sequence with a variety of moves that will target specific areas of the body.
Our classes are for EVERYONE, no matter your experience level. You can choose to take any Pilates class and you will get offered variations that help you achieve your goals based on your needs.
If you plan to take a heated class, please be aware that you might feel a little extra challenged, so we do encourage you to come well-hydrated, nourished and to take your time and stop when you need a break.
The best part of our Pilates classes is that all you need to bring is a mat. We provide the rest. We don’t use any heavy machinery or equipment, no complicated positions, it’s just classic Joseph Pilates original style where your body is your best prop; beginner friendly and made-to-fit everyone.
