Acupuncture, Holistic Medicine and Shamanism are healing art forms based on the worldview that the multiplicity of life stems from a oneness of Being. The universe, self and health, mind and body all interweave back into this worldview.

Knowing how to co-create a sacred and healing space is the ultimate art form. Using my intuition and my senses of observation, listening, touch and mental curiosity I create a picture of what is happening in the life and health of my patient. My care is heart-centered and grounded because I know a meaningful life is not just about me but the uplifting of my brothers and sisters on this planet.

What I’m most excited about is the growing movement of enthusiasm around psychedelic assisted therapy and it’s ability to help humanity begin to heal from all the mental and emotional pain that has been carried on both the individual and collective level. From and holistic and energetic level this pain is the root of all disease both within the body as well as the collective body politic.

I am grateful for the many blessings in my life & for the support I feel from my brother’s in Spirit. Last Friday we gathered to celebrate my journey into fatherhood. I was asked, “What are you most looking forward to in being a Father?”

To witness the birth of my first child & to remember it forever.

To see Laura in all her mamma bear maternal & primal instincts, strength, vulnerability & beauty.

To let my own inner child be Free.

To accept the hardships of rearing a new born with ease & grace & compassion & the discipline it takes to become a true spiritual warrior, leader & healer.

Part II:

But I still felt something missing…let me preface - I loved helping my patients get better & seeing their lives transform.

As a healer I’ve been challenged by walking the line between being of service to others without feeling used. To learn how to help another heal without taking on their pain. To let the little me step aside to allow God to do the healing. To let go of the temptation to “fix” their problem but to hold space for them to learn what their problem is teaching them - that the solution is in them & not what I do to them. These are huge lessons for me and I’ve often met them and still do with trail and error.

And this is why I live teaching Qi Gong so much because it teaches others how to become their own best healer! As an empowered individual I get to contain my energy within my own being and develop deeper connections to every part of my body, to the Earth, to the elements, to the Universe and ultimately the Spiritual forces animating all of Reality. Guiding others into these internal experiences truly bring Joy into my heart unlike any other practice hitherto.

I had looked for it in so many other places and healing modalities and then one day it dawned upon me (actually during my last Ayahuasca ceremony) that this was it. Qi Gong. Teaching it to my community and gradually becoming a Master & Leader of this Movement rooted in the ancient tradition of Taoist Shamans.

The opportunity to teach Qi Gong to others has put me on the Path to my hidden Purpose & shown me my truest Spark! When I look back - it all seems so obvious now - that what I’m here to do is to be a Master Energy Weaver & Healer as a Qi Gong practitioner. But for so long it was hidden in the background of my life - always there, just never fully seen.

In high school I became a searcher of Truth and studied Philosophy, Theology & History in College, looking for it in books, ideas and the Great Minds of Western Civilization.

I then was initiated into the Way of the Shaman & the spirituality of the Native Americans way of life. I also started to experiment with psychedelics & plant medicines. Truth was now a direct experience & connection to God and Spirit was within me. After college I thought that this was my path forward but at the time I did not know how to translate it into society. I knew I was a healer & had chosen the path to know & heal myself so in 2011, I decided to move to California and study Acupuncture & Chinese medicine.

Am I suppose to be a Doctor of Acupuncture & Chinese medicine like my parents before me? A Massage Therapist? Pranic Healer? Cranial Sacral Therapist? Reiki Master? Theta Healer? Transformational Coach? Breathwork Facilitator? Yoga Teacher? Shaman & Plant Medicine Guide? A Psychedelic Therapist?

Over these past 12 years I’ve been able to incorporate these healing modalities into my healing practice and I’ve learned so much about myself & others but there was still something missing for me….to be continued.
