Our main location is adjacent to Sharp Mary Birch Hospital for Women and Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego.

San Diego Perinatal Center is the region's premier Maternal-Fetal Medicine Practice, specializing in diagnostic ultrasound and management of complicated pregnancy. The San Diego Perinatal Center has been providing pregnancy care and consultation to families and physicians in San Diego, Imperial and Riverside counties since 1990. As a division of Rady Children’s Specialists of San Diego, we work closely with pediatric subspecialists, such as neonatologists and cardiologists, enabling us to provide comprehensive, coordinated care for you and your baby.

May is designated as Preeclampsia Awareness Month. It's a month-long campaign to raise awareness about this serious pregnancy complication, encouraging women to be informed about the signs and symptoms of preeclampsia and to seek medical care promptly.

Medical Ultrasound Awareness Month (MUAM) is held annually in October to increase awareness of diagnostic medical sonography and the role sonographers play in healthcare. Many organizations join the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography in promoting MUAM, including the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography, the American Society of Echocardiography, Cardiovascular Credentialing International, and the Society for Vascular Ultrasound.
